[Guide] How to root N20 Ultra (N986B)(N9860)

I come from Dr.Ketan Q06 Rom and a23 inamcd Twrp and i just did following:

- First Odin flash Stable R in download mode
- Then reboot to download mode and flash latest ianmcd Twrp-c2s-3.4.0-1b1.tar
- Reboot to TWRP - Flash multidisabler
- Format data - Type Yes
- Reboot TWRP - Flash Magisk (Canary)

Takes just 1h with backup apps with swift backup

I just did initial android and magisk setup and restore apps now

Nah bro, the dr. is just a busy guy and besides his super skills just released android r thats even easier to get working such a privilege to be able to see such intelligent people working on xda! Remember that even if guys like you and me can't get things going

i make all as you say for root and now when i make reboot system i'm block on "entering fastboot mode..."

i rebootmany time sometime it reboot in recovery twrp and often i have "entering fastboot mode "
i flashed a second time and ...... same thing

Im trying to root but unable to boot into recovery. The steps are not clear where to flash the twrp file. I tried it in user data and no luck. I then tried in AP and still no luck. Holding vol up and power when booting doesnt go to recovery. i just get the red text warning and phone boots up

Since Android R, you needs to pluged in device to PC alog with combo key to reboot to TWRP. Once you are in TWRP, flash Magisk zip & Latest multidisabler. Refer previous page post #337

Yes, thank you so much. I have gotten it to work. Coming from Note 9 I thought TWRP would open in seconds
Is there a way to remove the unofficial software warning from the startup?

my stock firmware is N985FXXU1ATJ1_N985FOXM1ATJ1_PAK

i follow all steps carefully, and it gets stuck at an error has occured screen after flash

Hi, in the factory reset step, after formatting data through TWRP, how do I copy the Magisk.zip and other file to my device? My PC file explorer is not showing the device when I plug it in from the TWRP screen. If I had copied the files before the factory reset I would have lost them after formatting data. Thank you for any help.
