I'm assuming that by rooting my T710 I'll lose OTA updates from Samsung. My question is, when they finally come out with 6.0.1, will I still be able to install it via Odin? I'd really like to root my T710 so that I can use TWRP for backup and recovery.

Root with supersu v2.65 and don't touch your system partition. Then all you have to do is restore the stock boot and recovery and you'll get Ota updates.
However I think that's a hassle compared to simply flashing with odin.

Oh my goddd

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 from Best Buy. I have the 810. I did exactly what the instructions said to do. I downloaded odin, cf_autoroot, and t810 5.1.1 boot.

First.. I opened odin and ran the t810 5.1.1 boot. It said recovery is not seandroid enforcing which I read that this is not a problem.

Second.. Opened odin again and ran the 810 cf auto root. Now my device is in an endless loop. Omg. What can I do to fix this? I have no idea what to do next, it will not stop restarting. I can't hold any buttons to turn it off or anything.

Recovery is not seandroid enforcing?
It should say Kernel is not seandroid enforcing.
Anyway don't panic.
Put your device back into download mode, hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN until it appears.
Go to sammobile and download the stock Firmware and flash with Odin. That will get you booting again.
Install twrp and then use it to install supersu v2.65.
You should be good after that.

First and foremost.. thank you very much for your reply. From the moment the tablet boot-looped I just stared at it for a good hour. The amount of anxiety made me want to throw up and I wasn't sure how I was going to explain to my wife that I just wasted $600. Thank you so much for your instructions and I followed the steps above and it did the trick. I have rooooot! I am still in disbelief, thank you!

Just wanted to let you know, the latest version of Kingroot can now successfully root my T810 with latest 5.0.1 ! Only downside is that it's just a temporary root which will be gone after a reboot. But hey, thats 'nuff time to run Adaway and debloat our Tab S2 without tripping Knox and thereby losing our warranty! :)
