These instructions worked great! I have spent a lot of time figuring out how to show the battery percentage on the screen at all times and was not successful in doing so by myself. The best I did was to show the circle battery icon instead of the default icon. OxygenOS version: 3.2.6. Thanks for sharing!

hmm, would prefer the option to have the percentage symbol next to the battery icon, rather than just a percentage.
I don't like the embedded percentage as much. It's too small.

On oneplus with oxygen OS 4.0.2, the battery percentage can be enabled in - Settings -> Status bar -> turn on "Show battery percentage"

This shows the battery percentage next to the battery icon (does not matter it's style).

There are 1000 of battery styles in it and its for free.
I searched play store and 3minit battery was $2. I did not, however, search XDA. Thx for link. I'll check it out!

Looks like there are other mods here that I don't want to add. Does his aroma installer allow to ONLY install the battery icon mod? It sounded like some of the users were saying you get them all or nothing, and the post you linked shows several that come with battery mod, but I didn't see battery mod all by itself.

there are several options.
you can just install any choice in aroma that contains the battery mod and then apply:
(3) stock
You can revert back to stock ui if you did not like any of these mods
battery mod and potato clock will remain. if you also dont want potato clock you can just manually uninstall it.

Just to mention, since the latest A-7.1.1 and o-4.1.1, the setting in System UI tuner to display the battery percentage inside the battery icon has been removed.

battery Percentage bug

I tried the options above, i could enable the system ui setting from the notification panel. I got 2 options " do not disturb & other" there is no third option to show embedded battery percentage. There is an option button (3 dots) but that is to remove system ui option from settings. Looks like a bug in latest update in op3. I recently updated android to 7.1.1 and oxygenos version 4.1.3. There is no option attach screenshot from my phone here.
