How do I know which CUST is suitable for the firmware?

FW: ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131

Cust:
1. ELS-N29-CUST 10.1.0.7(C432)
2. ELS-N29-CUST 10.1.0.8(C432)

This FW and CUST 08 works fine, no USB connection but OTA Work.
This FW and CUST 07 works fine, but no USB and only OTA to FW 176.

Now i will buy a NanoMemory Card....

You can try different Memory stick + OTG adapter + dload firmware to downgrade to 10.1.0.121 first. Then install Google and made the EMUI upgrade via OTA.

This is my original data, not affected by USB connection to computer:

After having completed the step n.6, is the usb connection still working? or should I update to the last version of Emui 11 to get it work?

My last Downgrade was an experiment with different cust, to check if usb works.

now i have no usb and stuck on FW 176 with no working OTA.

I wasn't able to change from EMUI 11 to EMUI 10 directly.

These steps helped me:

1. Downgrade EMUI 11.x.x.x to the lowest version of EMUI 11 for your device (11.0.0.151 should do). Using HiSuite Proxy

2. Downgrade EMUI 11.0.0.151 to 10.1.0.176 using HiSuite without Proxy (select other version in Hisuite)

3. Downgrade from 10.1.0.176 to 10.1.0.121 using HiSuite 10.1.550 and Proxy or use OTG and SD-Card.

I have tested some downgrades from 11.0.0.202 and USB is always dead for me.

Upgrade to 11.0.0.202 and USG works again.

Downgrade from a higher or = version EMUi11.0.0.193 (C432) will results on no USB connection to the computer. It is better to have a NM card, just in case.

This is for C432 region only. Do not use this firmware on other region firmware. I can prepare the firmware for other region.


When you downgrade P40Pro firmware using P40Pro+ firmware elements your phone will show like this:

On those phones can use OTG adapter + dload firmware.
The steps:
1. Download the dload firmwares (180 and 202) from this link:
s.go.ro

!!!!!!dload N39-N29

Shared folder !!!!!!dload N39-N29
s.go.ro s.go.ro

They are not the same firmware as the ones you can find on internet.

2. Unzip 180 firmware and copy dload folder to the memory stick (NM card if OTG is not working)

3. Write 180 firmware using memory-stick + USB-C OTG / NM Card + ProjectMenu\Software Upgrade\1.Memory card Upgrade. To access ProjectMenu, type *#*#2846579#*#* on the original dial app.

At the end will be like this:

4. Use the same procedure with 202 firmware.

At the end will be like this:

5. The USB connection to computer is back now.

6. Use HiSuite proxy to downgrade again using the N29 firmware files (https://www.firmfinder.ml/). After this step you will have N29 back.

At the end will be like this:

7. Now you can install Google and make update of EMUi to have USB connection to computer and fast charging back.

LE:

a. It is possible to skip to install 180 and write 202 directly, but nobody tried yet. Baby steps.

I downgrade P40 PRO (C792) from EMUI 11 to EMUI 10 for install GMS, but USB data transfer (only charging) not working and no fast charging any more. Can you help to provide correct firmware ?

If an EMUI update is available, update to the last version of EMUI11 and everything will be OK. There is no other solution.
Losing the fast charge and connection to computer is a common issue when you downgrade from last Emui11 to EMUI 10. How do you know you downgraded a wrong firmware?

Hi since OTA is also not working (shows already have the latest firmware), I can't update to EMUI 11.

    Did you downgrade P40Pro using P40 Pro+ firmware? Maybe this thread can help you.

    This is for C432 region only. Do not use this firmware on other region firmware. I can prepare the firmware for other region.


    When you downgrade P40Pro firmware using P40Pro+ firmware elements your phone will show like this:
    10.1.0.176a.jpeg
    10.1.0.176b.jpeg
    10.1.0.176 settings.jpeg



    On those phones can use OTG adapter + dload firmware.
    The steps:
    1. Download the dload firmwares (180 and 202) from this link:

    7. Now you can install Google, fix the push notifications ( I have the best solution, but is not free) and make update of EMUi to have USB connection to computer and fast charging back.

    L.E. The transfer files between Computer and phone is available on the downgraded firmware (10.1.x.x) when you use a certain USB-c to USB-c cable. In this case a UGREEN, US355, USB-C To USB-C, 3.1, Gen.2, PD, 5A, 100W, 4K, 10 Gbps cable has been used. In the same time, using the original USB cable or other ordinary USB-c to USB-C cable have not activated the file transfer.

    c. You can use a NM card if OTG+Memory card doesn't work. You will download and extract/copy dload firmware on NM card using phone internet connection.

    Yes. It is clear. You have nothing to do with this thread and those firmware.

    You have to use wifi connection and download&install GMS on your 10.1.0.114 (you gone to low. It was better on 10.1.0.121). After that upgrade to 11.0.0.202 using one of that, and your USB will be fine:
    a. HiSuite-original (no proxy)
    b. MyHuawei App
    c. OTA ( phone menu)
    d. eRecovery (wifi)
