Your method worked, and now I have the windows 7 32 bit driver installed.

Still, when I attach the device,( having already hit download), it at first shows the sing of an extremely low battery that is charging, then quickly shows the sign of a battery charged to 100%, then it seems to drop the device (it is no longer there to eject). Never any motion on the yellow bar that would indicate that it was flashing.
Just a quick thought. Have you restarted your computer after installing the new driver?

Nice suggestion. I turned it off and turned it on again, hit download, clicked in device... The indicator signal led a long time that it was installing device driver, then finally said it failed to install it. It's been ages since I've worked on a PC. Any next suggestions?

Hmm driver detection failure. Strange, maybe you need admin right to install driver?

Turn off quick boot.

The red battery means preloader is loading and getting ready to go into charging mode. Turning off quick-boot changes this time when plugged in from like 1 second to like 3-4 seconds.

Actually I had turned off quick boot. Anyway, I followed Loki's recently loaded video and finally got it to work. One thing he mentioned that I think you had not was to hit to power off, click the watch in place, and after it is now connected to the computer, hit power off and hit ok. Also, he had given a way to get it to load the drivers with the device connected (as above).

I don't know whether these tricks are what made the difference or not.

Anyway I do very much appreciate your help and all the help I've been getting on this list.

Hi, by TS Omate is frozen (was trying to flash the ROM). I think i need to use this to get back to stock. Should I use all the files in the OP if I'm using a US 1/8 version or do I need a different firmware or scatter file?

Thanks!

(This comes from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50790959 )

I think I have bricked my truesmart. During the process of flashing a ROM, flash tool stopped it and showed an error message (I don´t remember which). After that, the watch doesn´t turn on. I tried to flash again several ROMs, but I think the computer doesn´t connect correctly to the watch. I have tried several things, but nothing works.

As abstract, this is what i have done:

- I have uninstalled TS drivers and restarted the computer (W7 64)
- Installed TS drivers again
- restarted the computer
- unplug and plugged the Truesmart´s battery (so, it is off)
- connected the TS to the computer. The PC detects it as "Mediatek USB VCOM (Android)" and intalls it correctly. BUT, after 5 or 6 seconds, it sounds like the watch is disconnected.
- unplugged TS
- restarted the computer
- unplug and plugged the Truesmart´s battery again
- run flash tool as admin
- selected "scatter-loading" and the scatter archive
- "download" (I have tried using all options: download only, firmware update...)
- connect TS to the computer
- the computer sounds as the conection is established, but after 5 or 6 seconds, again, sounds like the watch is unplugged
- I can wait for minuts and minuts, but nothing else happens.

I attach a screenshot of flash tool and the log archives.

Please, help me!

I had issues when trying to install the ROM. Eventually, I re-downloaded all files, ran it again and it fixed everything. Did you try another USB cord, maybe even another computer (if you have access)?

Hey planning to flash back to stock (1/20/14 firmware) I got from firmware archive and use the OMATE_SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352.01 from the OP. I see that there are is a duplicate of the scatter file. There is another folder ("omate_1900_truesmart_20140120") with all the same files, including scatter. Does it matter which I choose?

UPDATE: @huelvy, you're not bricked. Especially if you hear the computer recognize your TS when you plug in. I actually just created the same issues you did when I was trying to go from the Imperative ROM back to stock (due to GPS issue) using the instructions in the OP. I also ran into the blank screen and error but when I plugged in my computer (Win 7-64) would recognize then not recognize. I was able to get it back working and now on stock!

Here's what I did:

1) Remove drivers: I went to device manager and saw the device not recognized and right-clicked to uninstall the drivers. (They appear only when you have TS connected to computer)

2) Open back of TS and pull your battery (alternative is to way at least 48 hours for your batter to die. if you plug in and computer does not recognize, then you're TS's batter is dead). After I did a battery pull, I was able to turn it back on and saw it was still on the Imperative ROM that booted back up after a few minutes, but was freezing a lot and the time and some other things were off).

3) I went to lokifish's tutorial and followed it very closely (watch video). I also made sure to install drivers again as noted by lockifish's video and unticked quick reboot.
* FYI, I'm US 1900 1/8. I used the 20140120 firmware from archive and "all tools" both found here:

I hope this helps. I've now had two major scares thinking my TS was bricked and both times got it back (first time thanks to Lokifish). I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thank you so much, eozdalga, but nothing of that works. I have uninstalled and installed the drivers again several times (always rebooting the computer after any step), but the flash tool´s bar doesn´t change (always red). The only thing has changed is that the computer, after connecting with the watch (and the flash tool´s bar becoming red), says "unknown device". Seconds later, the watch disconnects.

I´m starting to think I have a very beautiful and expensive paperweight :crying: .

So it recognizes so not a paperweight. (Although I was really thinking the same thing until I got it working again). Did you pull the battery? Was it able to restart?

It was saying same thing for me when I connected. Did you try to go into device manager and manually uninstall drivers? I think the main thing though is the battery pull.

I have tried everything you say, but it doesn't work. The watch doesn't start (black screen).
Any idea?

Try to be as specific as possible. So you pulled the battery? What happened? Is it still a completely black screen and does the computer make a sound that it is recognized?

Did you try to delete the drivers and did you try Lokifish's method?

I'm no developer but sounds like we had the same problem and mine is working. Just try to provide as many details possible to me or someone can help.

My (borrowed!) TS is in a boot-loop after modifying build.prop.
(I had installed Imperium Operative Installer 20140301 first. I have restored the file but no success with ending the loop.)
I cannot figure out the boot loop problem from the logcat. No big deal, I want to flash EU 20140120 with working sensors anyway.

A minute or so after plugin in a drained device, I can connect with ADB.
It is possible to go to recovery and reboot (I just tried to go to bootloader, no adb - have to wait to drain again).
It is possible to backup IMEI it seems with MtkDroidTools, but SPFT will not connect at all to the device.
I have tried various combinations of turning on connected/unconnected, go to recovery etc.

Any hints to get download working?

Edit: The closest to Power off I have assumed is "adb shell reboot -p", but neither that nor any other plug in powered off to get SPFT connect works for me.

Edit2: Reinstalling VCOM drivers again made SPFT start downloading.

Yes, I pulled the battery, but the results are the same (the TrueSmart doesn´t connect to the computer). Even I have tried pulling the battery after every step. And I have tried without battery too.

When I try to power on the watch, nothing happens (completely black screen, no vibration, no sounds, nothing of nothing).

I have tried uninstalling and installing the drives many times (with and without the battery, pulling and keeping the battery after every step), but the results are always the same.

I have tried to connnect the watch to another computer running W7, but I get the same results. I have tried with a win XP computer and it doesn´t work neither. Even I have formatted my computer and install again the drivers. I get nothing.

I really appreciate the help you are giving me. If your clock works, why not mine?
