Hi , I flashed the file you gave from recovery then I reboot , at first the network signal appeared then its gone , I think it didn't work , can you guide me to the next step for reflagging my radio/modem
Thank you ..

Here's Lollipop SU4TL-49 radio + bootloader and the new Marshmallow 6.0.1, both in TWRP flashable format. If you've already flashed Marshmallow radio/bootloader, do NOT downgrade radio/bootloader. If you have not flashed the official Verizon radio/bootloader for Marshmallow yet, you can still use the Lollipop "49" radio if you wish. (Some people like it, some don't.)

This will update your device to the latest (Lollipop) radio/bootloader images available. Unlocked bootloaders will remain unlocked.

5.1 (SU4TL-49) RADIO + BOOTLOADER
Flashable TWRP package https://mega.nz/#!uIYixCAL!Go5F2cVac34REdikz-WxF3H-zMsFkABaNzgVzX6Gnwg
SHA1 sum: a85d11383d2543ae527846df0156886b51021dae
Verizon Droid Turbo Marshmallow 6.0.1 radio
MCG24.251-5 Radios+BL.zip (TWRP flashable)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767120797

Flash in TWRP. If you are upgrading radio/bootloader, you may have to dirty flash your ROM and GAPPs again.

Thank you very much , it worked without flashing the last marshmallow radio update , I installed the modem/radio you previously gave and with a little help from this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network I chosed GSM/CDMA auto prl option then I opened setting >>more network >> and I found preferred networks >> I chosed Global , it works good , but now I have a problem in activating 3g internet, it didn't work although I added access point name into setting but nothing happened , no internet , the 3g signal appear for a moment then it diminished , not seen at all and no internet , do you know how to fix it , or if I installed marshmallow radio will this fix it ?

Got an OTA update incoming.

Hello,

first of all i would like to thank you for simplifying the entire process in such a concise tutorial. it worked the first time around :good:
but i got a surprise after i completed the entire process and that was that i got a software update popup and then a downloading status bar showing me at least 1.2Gbs of data waiting to be downloaded.
now with your tutorial you already have said that we are not supposed to go higher than SU4TL-49 (which is what i have currently with lollipop 5.1), i never got this update before rooting and unlocking the bootloader..so i dont really know whether to make good or bad of it. can you give me any idea of whether or not i should go ahead with it or not? i tried to restore everything back to factory defaults, did a few wipes from the bootloader too but the download pop-op still comes up looking for a wifi connection

if bootloader is unlocked, installing updates will not change unlock status

this is just the answer that i was looking for because i thought that maybe after updating the bootloader might go back to default / locked status. thanks for the quick response :good:
but my other question is about installing custom roms, if this updates the SU4TL-49, i will be able to flash back to it right?

UPDATE: so i downloaded the file but it didnt flash on the phone because it kept trying to access its default bootloader but instead TWRP kept popping up, copied the file from the system cache and ran it through TWRP and it gave an error because the release keys required for the installation didnt match the one on my phone.
the file was named "Blur_Version.23.21.49.quark_verizon.verizon.en.US" im guessing it will still keep it at SU4TL-49.

apart from this can you recommend any good and stable Roms which are not gonna cause problems with radio and stuff? i have android 5.1 and SU4TL-49

if you are going to downgrade then im pretty sure that youre going to lose the data in your internal storage during the process. its always a good idea to make a back up of your data before either downgrading or upgrading.

Of course your bootloader is already unlocked or you wouldn't be asking this, right?

IF your bootloader is unlocked, yes you can downgrade. Just be sure to NOT flash GPT.bin when downgrading or you'll have a bad day.

What you do mean "before this one"? I see you mention SU4TL-49, but is that the radio you want or you want the one before that one -- SU4TL-44?

SU4TL-49 radio for XT1254 is in the CM13 thread in the OP. There's nothing wrong with that radio. If you read the OP (you did read the OP right?) it tells special ADB command you can flash to force XT1254 to recognize the Droid Turbo for either Verizon CDMA or non-Verizon GSM carrier.

You really should look for the appropriate thread, as it's very easy to find.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/droid-turbo-xt1254-bootloader-radio-t3259327
The only issue there is he can only flash SU4TL-49 radio + bootloader (or higher) if that's what he has right now. The packages in that thread are radio + bootloader. He cannot flash the package which includes SU4TL-44 bootloader.

I actually gave him the SU4TL-49 radio + bootloader link and the 6.0.1 radio + bootloader links a week ago when he had other radio issues:

Hello, the unlocking bootloader procedures here are new to me, and I am trying to make sure I am understanding the steps correctly before I proceed. So please don't mind if I ask dumb question, I have read the posts but just cannot visualize what's going on.

I am using the stock SU4TL-49 without any modification since day 1. Now the phone is downloading the system update OTA file, so I know unless I keep ignoring the update, I would need to unlock it soon or I will lose the chance. Since the droid turbo is still my daily driver and I do not have a spare phone in hand, I cannot bear the consequence of losing the existing setup while unlocking nor the time needed to restore. So my questions are:

1) if I only want to unlock the bootloader so I won't regret later, should I only need to do Section 1 and 2 of the original post, and stop when TWRP is installed?
2) If I understand correctly sunshine is a paid app? In which step I am asked to pay?
3) If I just do Section 1 and 2, is there any chance that I don't need to backup the phone and the stuff and setup inside can be kept?
4) If everything go smoothly, should I then just reboot the phone and go to take the stock system update?
5) If I ultimately would root the phone, should I root it in one go or I can do it later?

BTW, other than the bootloader unlock, may I ask whether the stock marshmallow is worth the upgrade? I concern the most on battery, will it perform better after upgrade?

Thanks a lot for everyone's help!

1. Only section 1 is necessary if the only thing you want to accomplish is bootloader unlocking. Keep in mind that SafetyNet now detects unlocked bootloaders, so if you rely on Android Pay, you might want to consider this.
2. Yes. Section 1, step 7. Sunshine will prompt you to pay after all compatibility checks have been passed.
3. No data will be wiped when only following sections 1 and 2, but backing up is always a good idea in the unlikely event that something goes wrong.
4. Yes but if you're going to do that, don't install TWRP. The OTA needs the stock recovery menu to be installed for it to function properly.
5. You can do it later. If you want to root after taking the marshmallow OTA, install TWRP and then flash this older version of SuperSU: https://download.chainfire.eu/751/SuperSU/. After you do that, you can flash the the newest version of SuperSU. Just make sure you flash the old one first.

I've been using stock marshmallow since it was released and I'm happy with it. I haven't done many tests, but the battery life seems about the same as SU4TL-49 to me during normal use. However, during light use, battery life is significantly better thanks to doze. Give it a try. With an unlocked bootloader, going back to SU4TL-49 is easy if you don't like it.

Thanks a lot for the explanations.

Android Pay is not an issue for me as it is still not very common here in Hong Kong. But what common services other than Android Pay would be affected?

On TWRP, am I right that it is not required if I opt the Marshmallow OTA, and on the contrary, if I install TWRP now, I can only obtain ROMs from other sources, such as those listed in the original posts?

You will not be able to use anything that checks SafetyNet. Android Pay is the only service that I know of that does this. People have claimed that Pokémon Go uses SafetyNet, but that isn't true. I can run it just fine despite failing SafetyNet. I can also use my bank's tap and pay app, which is the same thing as Android Pay.

Correct. TWRP will prevent you from taking an official OTA. However, the official OTA has been packaged into a TWRP-friendly format, so instead of taking the OTA, you can flash stock marshmallow that way. See this forum here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/development/rom-mcg24-251-5-100-stock-t3512949

If you would like to take the official OTA, perform section 1, reboot and take the OTA, then perform section 2 to install TWRP if you wish. If for some reason you need to replace TWRP with the stock recovery menu later on, it's easy to do.
