If you see "no command," that means TWRP was not successfully flashed. Repeat section 2. When you get to step 10, do you get an indication that TWRP.img was successfully flashed?

I am getting a corrupt file message when I checked the image from the TWRP url...

I am getting a corrupt file message when I checked the image from the TWRP url...
I flashed the Turbo again and the correct serial number came up both times. It flashed correctly. Still getting "no command". I re-downloaded download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip?retrieve_file=1[/url] again and replaced the original file. Is it possible the file is corrupt or am I doing something wrong?

Seeing the serial number doesn't mean that any images flashed correctly. It simply means that Fastboot can communicate with your Turbo. How did you "check" the image from the TWRP url? What is telling you that the file is corrupt?

If the file that you downloaded was corrupted during the download, re-download the file.

Also, this: download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip?retrieve_file=1 is not the TWRP url. If this is the file that you're trying to flash using Fastboot, that's what you're doing wrong. If this is what you were trying to do, read section 2 more carefully.

State of Denial
I got that "no command" also and then look again and noticed that I'd overlooked #11, When I did that it it worked great

"11. Type "fastboot reboot-bootloader" without quotes and press enter to reboot your phone into bootloader mode."

Yes I went back and made sure it was in the right directory and everything.
Try this method. If it works, I'll change the guide, since so many people are having this same problem:

1. Download TWRP Manager from the play store
2. Open Sunshine and get to the point where it says it has obtained root access.
3. Open TWRP manager. For device, select Motorola Moto Maxx (quark)
4. Install TWRP.
5. See if TWRP boots.

Awesome. I'll add that as an alternative method then.

When you select Install in TWRP, it takes you to a file browser where it expects you to navigate to the file you want to flash (in this case, the SuperSU .zip file that you downloaded) and select it. After you select it, you are given the option to install it.

For future reference, everything you install using TWRP will be a .zip file. These are commonly referred to as "flashable zips."

Will this work for me. I just bought the turbo. Build SU3T-39 System 23.11.39 quark_Verizon Kernel 3.10.40-perf-ga0ad644.

No. You need to update to SU4TL-44.

From post #1:
Section 0: Installing Firmware Version SU4TL-44

1. Go to Settings -> About Phone
2. Look at your Build Number. Is it SU4TL-44? Look at your System Version. Is it 23.21.44.quark_verizon.verizon.en.US vzw? Look at your Kernel Version. Is it 3.10.40-perf-g90ddf4a? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, skip to section 1. If the answer is no, keep reading.

I have a message from Verizon about a update downloaded and ready to install.. Question is I do not know which update... So I'm not sure to update or do the adb I already have downloaded...

I'm taken the update, so lets hope it is the right one.

I followed section two and it worked perfectly... Can you give any advice to a novice how to remove bloatware, install cool apps, ect. beyond the links at the bottom of your tutorial? Thanks for all your help!

Thanks for this write-up, seems fairly simple and straight forward. I've unlocked & flashed every phone I've had so far but it's always an on/off hobby for me so I need refreshing each time I jump back into it.

Anyway, I currently have mofo root and have been running one of compfreek's images since October. Where can I read more about flashing the SU4TL-44 firmware images? I want to make sure my current config is compatible with this step so I don't find myself in a jam. This is an OTA lollipop image correct?
