Installed the Dialer and gave it basically all the permissions to test it and unfortunately there is no Call Recording option in the settings.
Tested on OnePlus 8T OOS 11.0.8.13.KB05AA.
I'm on 11.0.8.14 and there is no way to active call recording. Not even with jtools oneplus.
This should be a regional thing then. Your country probably has laws that prohibit silent call recording (without notifying the other speaker) and the apk is configured to follow the laws.

The region is determined by the sim installed, and I don't think you can bypass it.Thank you for the explanation. Actually, I have the same issue. How is it possible to change phone region? To be clear, I live in a country that is legal to record phone calls without letting anyone know, but you have to keep it yourself as a sort of "write notes"
The apk has a flaw/ bug where recording fails if you hold the phone close to the ear before the call starts. The workaround is to wait for the call to connect and then hold the phone to the ears/ use the speaker. Recording works fine then. That's why i tried the methods from another thread, the call recording magisk module, the apk, etc. It was working before. I mean sort of. After a while it stopped working , but then i restarted the app again and it would work. Now, no option to record whatsoever.

[CLOSED] Enable Native Call Recording [OOS] [ROOT/NON-ROOT] [APP/MAGISK MODULE/ADB/TASKER]
Introduction Hello everyone! You might/might not know that OxygenOS (and ROMs based on it) have an in-built/native call recording feature. However, it is not enabled for everyone as it is region-locked and it might/might not be illegal to record...forum.xda-developers.com

But I don't know why the option disappeared completely in your device. Did you install sim belonging to a different region where it is not designed to work?
To enable call recoding use this free app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.jroot3d.joneplustools
oneplus nord 2 já tem o novo oxygenos com o código mesclado com o coloros oppo. Isso não vai funcionar.Acabei de obter o Nord 2 e o discador se recusa a instalar neste dispositivo.
Possui OOS 11.3 instalado.
@Shavi_Suri If and the other guys here would prefer to have all the APKs as a standalone Magisk module (instead of using App Systemizer), let me know and I'll create one for you guys.![]()
See if you have accepted the call log permission in the contacts application. If you have it, deny that permission and see if it now works properly for you.Shadow, i have you oneplus apps 1.0 installed. Contacts is crashing. Do you have an updated module? OOS 11.0.10.10 here.
I am becoming increasingly angry @ oneplus...
Or if someone has another solution for using oneplus original apps, i'm all ears.
I haven't updated the module since the first release. What do you want updated in the module? The APKs?Shadow, i have you oneplus apps 1.0 installed. Contacts is crashing. Do you have an updated module? OOS 11.0.10.10 here.

Unfortunately I can't fix the crash issue, I made the module blind I don't have the device. Also, yes, I've seen an increase in the number of reports saying trying to manually enable call recording unofficially doesn't work with OOS 11. Seems like OnePlus did change something indeed.Taking out the contacts crash issue, the module is fine. I have denied the call logs permission. Fine now.
Call recording does not work tough. But i think it's not a problem with these apks. I think oneplus changed something. I tried the call recording module, the apk, the jtoolsoneplus app, etc.
It will be good to have an updated version with latest APKsI haven't updated the module since the first release. What do you want updated in the module? The APKs?
I'm happy to do that provided someone shares the updated APKs with me.
Hi,If the app can be installed and works fine on un-rooted phones, what is the need for the Magisk route on rooted phones?
