Not all carriers/providers use the IMEI for verification, just try, if it works good, if not, at least you have tried :fingers-crossed:. Maybe the other SIM is verified via MEID, as i said it depends on your carrier.
After rebranding a second Imei appears, with just a byte of difference regarding the original one.
All p10 have two Imeis, just crippled in 09 models for the will of greedy carriers around the world
That is not true, only one IMEI is after rebranding from VTR-L09 to VTR-L29 available.
You can check it in the Test menu *#*#6130#*#* Phoneinformation > ABO1 and ABO2.

You are right. I confused MEID with the second IMEI. Still, both Sims work, even if they are from the same carrier, with the same IMEI.
I want get singlesim unbranded europe firmware and OTA updates in the future. If there is no free and sure way, I must forget it.

I have Canadian version of P10 (locked and unlocked to provider) it is supported one SIM. VTR-L09 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
Can I rebrand it VTR-L29 to get possibility to use both SIM cards simultaneously?

Hi, I'm trying to rebrand from VTR-AL00 to VTR-L29. Everything was going well, until the installation of the update itself. The script gets stuck on 'Please wait for upload files and do not press any key.' if I try to install the update from my PC's disk and stops after having finished replacing the oeminfo if I attempt to install from a SD card. I would be grateful if someone could help me finish the process.
I'm in the same situation as you....Canadian version of P10 (C557). Did you attempt rebranding and if so were you successful?

The upload to your device takes a long time, cause the files are big. How long did you wait?
First of all, please excuse any dumb things I might say, as this is my first time doing this.
In the firmwarefinder, no version matched both L29 and AL00, so I just decided to give one of the versions provided in the thread a try, and downloaded B179. Should I use a version that supports AL00 instead?
I waited for around 2 hours, furthermore, I checked in the code of the script and some other messages should appear when the files are being copied if I’m not mistaken. None of them appeared for me.
