After verification, I received error code 9 in TWRP :
E:unknown command [errno]
Update process endedw ith ERROR: 9
Error installing zip fiile '/external_sf/update.zip

I would check your files you downloaded. Sometimes zip files get errors when downloading on mobile data. I had few problems like this before. Make sure your WiFi has stable connection and try not to move your device much while downloading the file. Might help.

Also make sure that the file you download is a right one. Sometimes firmware finder only offers files for L09 model rather than L29.

Compare the md5-hash, which i provided in the mainpost. If it differs from your download, you know the problem.

Hey man.. u know i tried to root and idk why i tried to format the memory.. and it had like 2 errors, then i tried to factory reset and that had like 3 errors. Now im stuck in a boot loop. "Your device is booting now.."
I've tried this tutorial.. it's the 3rd time now.. and it's still stuck, idk what to do
i downloaded the VTR-L29C432, and i did all the steps in the script.. from pc, just selected the 2nd option 3 times. but it's still in a boot loop, please help. it costs like 400 dollars to make it work and i dont wanna pay that much

RAM: 4GB
Dual sim

I have restarted the whole process and rebranded my already rebranded phone (VTR-L09C654 -> VTR-L29C432). The only way I could achieve this was to use HWOTA/Update folder from PC, even though my SDcard was fully working and had no errors.

As i said numeros times:
Sometimes the sdcard (depending on the brand and the fileformat) isn´t working, sometimes it´s the fault of cheap usb-cable or an usb-port (drivers or power of the usb-port).
That´s no problem of the script, just keep in mind that the updatefiles aren´t that small. So pushing some kb-sized files is working, but those big updatefiles are another league.
Also a lot of people forget to install the hisuite or at least the drivers that are needed. Also make sure hisuite isn´t running in the background. It might interfere the process.

I'm trying to backup my OEMinfo(along with boot and system which were already checked) in TWRP but I get an error of "not enough free spaceon storage". This is backiing up in the "cust" which is only 174mb. Where do I back it up?

I managed to rebrand from L09-GBRC555 (Three network UK) to L09-C432B180. Only flashed it once. Seems to work fine. SIM works. Has dual SIM option even though it's L09. Only thing is VoLTE option is missing. Should I flash again? Or does one of the other firmware support VoLTE?

Waiting for a flashable zip, if you want to keep your data.
Unlocking, relocking and using howta wipes the data in numerous of steps.
Backup your data and use google autofill and smartlock to speed up your "setting it up again" process.

Is it possible to flash the version B-185 to B-180? I have already installed B-185

im on VTR-L09C654B213 Rogers Canada

in step 2 theres oreo AND 2 Nougat zips...

do i have to flash one of the nougat zips BEFORE the oreo update or

i can do directly from VTR-L09C654 Nougat to VTR-L29C432B360 Oreo.... ??

Do you have Volte support on your device?
I ask you the question because after I rebranded my phone, Volte calling option was nowhere to be found under settings... Just to let you know that it might affect this aspect of your phone.
Rogers supposedly do not grant access to their Volte network on phones that is not under their brand (C654)...

Ahh well... about VoLTE,honestly,i didnt noticed a difference between P10 and Nova plus so I did have it on p10 nougat but dont see it on Oreo.

Yes,i did the flash...took me 3 times to do it...first 2 trys ended on that Onyx firmware under emui3

third time,script ung itself at those 2 recov images but...lets it stood there for 30 minutes then unplugged from computer

it rebooted by itself and installed the Oreo update

About VoLTE / Rogers...
In Network settings,it says taht it uses the 4gLTE to do phonecalls in HD

Hi everyone!

So i was able to rebrand my phone VTR-L09 to VTR-L29C432B180 with a bit of complication but nothing major, thank you for the tutorial, now there is something that it still not clear to me, as per the guide:

After that, you´ll be able to get updates directly from huawei via systemupdate or use the awesome firmware finder from the playstore.

When i check systemupdate, there is no update available, but i see in firmware finder that there new ones available for my phone that are compatible (as per IMEI check), how can i get OTA on my phone? it is still not clear to me.
