Still no luck yet getting the Simcard recognised. Though, funny thing, I'm probably the only one on the planet that has a dual-sim L09 :silly:

Hello everything went fine but my phone continues on the VTR-L09 wasnt it supose to be on the VTR-L29? tank you so much
Do i need to select something for it install the L29? i have done the procedure 5 times and everything goes fine but im still with the L09.
Iam i missing anything?

**** i think i got it i completely missed the need of the firmware finder, but i doesn't allow me to install by proxy,can i include the folders in the Hwota folder and do it that way?

Mine didn't have the 2nd simcard slot available in the About Phone when it came out of the box. That only appeared after having flashed a L29 rom on it and rebranding it back to a L09.
I am at the point where I can deduct my backed up oeminfo to be at fault, as I have also flashed other L09 oeminfo's too with the same outcome: dual Sim activated but the simcard is not recognized in either slot.
Sadly, there's no instructions around how to revert back to L09 properly, so maybe I am missing a step somewhere??
I just need help in the firmware part i will even paypall the charitable soul that helps me, i have been 7 hours into this and everything goes well but im still on the L09 version
I have done it!!!!! The issue was my own stupidity , dont be afraid to try this if you learn some of the basics before!!

Finally I managed it my demo p10 to debrand with this Script, Thanks.
First time i chose option 1 but fingerprint doesn not work.
My second try i chose option 2 and VTR-L09C432 now fingerprint works but
on system information, onyx d188-l09,2gb ram 16 rom, and nrd90mtestkey are displayed?

Depending on certain factors rebranding to L09C432 may not work. However rebranding to L29C636 has worked on all devices so far. If L09 fails to read the sim, try L29, even if your device is L09!

i debranded my VTR-L09 demo p10 with the L29C636 .
Simcards, Fingerprint everything work but in Infos i get wrong version number, only 2gb Ram and 16 GB Rom, and no OTA update in the menu.
I try a factory reset in system or in erecovery a restore or in twrp a complete wipe. But nothing works.
Any Ideas?

First of all thanks for taking the time to write this tutorial, even though it is pretty straight forward, i do not seem to understand why you wrote the same steps twice! i did it once and worked for me! i just wanted to take it out of my chest!

Hi, I received my P10 from service (replacement of the motherboard). I had branded firmware but now they install me open europe soft (vtr-l29c432b151). I find on the internet that the newest soft is b164. I search for updates in the phone but I can see the info that I have recent software. What can I do to update to the new soft?
Be patient or install the Firmware Finder to force the update. B171 is also available for C432.
When I press enter to start rebranding it boots into fastboot and then I waited more than 15 minutes but nothing happens....

After rebooting the device showed the keypad only but did nothing else.
Long story short, after some tries to make it work again I made a factory reset and now I'm on D188-L29), build NRD90M test-keys, EMUI 3.1, Android 5.1 and the phone is working.
FYI: The phone is still unlocked, stock recovery installed.
Firmware finder no result, HiCare no result, update via dload C432 B130, B150, B164 no success.
Any suggestions?

No idea what the issue was but now it worked for me as well.
Now I'm on C432 and right after the first boot it updated to B171.
