I'm in trouble and need your help.
I was on L29C636 and changed to C432, see log:

Disconnect usb cable and turn off phone, use Vol-Up and Power key to enter TWRP recovery.

After rebooting the device showed the keypad only but did nothing else.
Long story short, after some tries to make it work again I made a factory reset and now I'm on D188-L29), build NRD90M test-keys, EMUI 3.1, Android 5.1 and the phone is working.

FYI: The phone is still unlocked, stock recovery installed.

Firmware finder no result, HiCare no result, update via dload C432 B130, B150, B164 no success.

Any suggestions?

please rebrand+flash firmware and + 1 update flash same brand option.

Hi all
I rebranded my phone Huawei P10 L09C432 (Single SIM) to L29C432 (Dual SIM) by manual on this forum,.

After this rebrand all works ok and all SIM works ok with no problem. Now i want sell my phone and he has warranty. I want back to L09. I do the same as rebrand to L29 but use in script oeminfo L09C432 and write firmware for L09. But after this phone works ok but SIM card in slot 1 not working. No found and no signal and no ask for PIN,
When again come back to rebrand to L29 SIMs works ok.

Before rebrand i dont save my file oeminfo.bin by recovery. Is possible to write oeminfo from other phone P10 L09C432 ?

Please help me...

It has been a while since i last flashed an original rom onto my P10. I am using Blackball's P10 rom, which is pretty original.

For safety's sake, whenever i wanted to flash a L09 rom, i always made sure i had a L09 version in the HWOTA update directory. If i wanted to flash a L29 rom, i put a L29 version in that directory.

There is some discussion if the L09 and L29 rom files are actually the same, just with some added files for the L09 or L29, depending which version you want to flash. But, better to be safe and put the according rom files in the HWOTA directory.

As far as this question is concerned, i just answered your pm.

Supposedly, the Simcard recognition problem after rebranding back to L09 is due to the Simlock pincode being enabled. (I haven't tested it myself yet, but i plan to as soon as i have some free time)
So, best thing would be to disable the Simlock pincode while you are still running the L29 rom, then rebrand to L09 and install a L09 rom.

If you have already rebranded back to L09 and flashed a L09 rom, try disabling the Simcard pincode and then restarting the phone.

They are saying, if you get Simcard problems after you reband and flash a L09 rom to your phone, try a rebrand to L29 and flash to L29.

This does NOT mean rebrand and flash to L29 if you want a working L09 rom.

Ok after rebrand to L09 i test it with disable PIN for SIM CARD. When PIN is disable , SIM CARD is reconized and works ok. But when i enable PIN again and restart phone again SIM CARD is not reconized. No signal...
But also still in menu Settings is show option DUAL SIM SETTINGS.

I dont know where is a problem.

I also write to funkyhuawei support and he write me that oeminfo file is each specific for each Phone L09C432 and if i dont have backup my file i can not back to rebranded to L09c432.

Anybody has own backup oeminfo file and can test back to rebrand L09 from L29? And test that after rebrand to L09 work ok sim card with serio PIN Code? Please...

DanKrv can you make backup you file by recovery TWRP and share me this file? I need this file. And i can help you rebrand to dual sim.
And can we test ten come back to single SIM on your phone to test if this work? Because for me not working.

I've followed all the steps and it seems that I have the European version now. The thing is when I try to use Android Pay, it says that I cannot use it because the bootloader is unlocked, I have root or I have a custom ROM. The first thing cannot be, because is locked.

I installed this update. After that enable PIN on SIM and card works ok. Is reconized. I restarted my phone and SIM CARD always reconized and works ok.

That´s why backups (especially OEMinfo) comes always first. If you have a TWRP backup before the brand, restore it.

That´s your bad, there are plenty of warnings in the tutorial If you had a L09C432, it should be possible. Your sim failure on the other hand says otherwise.
Seems you had branded one, then you can only revert back to this one, but i know for fact, that providers sometimes change something depending on the builddate of the device in the oeminfo, even if it´s the same model.
So you only have a choice, if someone has a backup from the same series.

If you are really sure you had a L09C432, then try to replace the update_all_hw.zip in the folder hwota\update (Important: You have to use the new one - B180 !!) with this one: update_full_VTR-L09_hw_eu.zip and rename it again to to update_all_hw.zip. Be sure you set your option in the os, that shows you the suffix. Otherwise you might end up with a update_all_hw.zip.zip
Run the script again.

in the file "update.zip" --> .zip is the suffix
That´s an oeminfo for the original unbranded phone used durcing the unbranding. Could be yours. could be not. Read what wrote in the post before.

3. Unlock bootloader and run the script and what i must select ? Rebrand to L09C432 ? (but in HWOTA is correct update.zip for L09C432 and not for L29C432 ?)


I dont understand... if in script is oeminfo for original unbranded phone why when i use rebrand to L09C432 Sim not working but when use rebrand for L29C432 sim works OK. My phone is from Polish T-Mobile original i dont see any branding.


Ok i done as i write in summary and still in menu is DUAL SIM SETTING and not see SIM CARD with PIN. Nothing change still the same problem.

I still dont understand why on OEMinfo from L29C432 (rebranding) SIM CARD with PIN works ok but on OEMinfo also rebranding SIM CARD not working with PIN.
