When download by ota which you download from firmware Finder? Because three is 2 version B179...


And tell me originaln manufacturer P10 Dual Sim has two IMEI number ? Because rebranded P10 to Dual Sim has only one IMEI number...

On mine it works

Iv tried hwota, cant rebrand it from d188-l29 onyx, everything goes smooth but nothing happens.
Same is happening with dload method. It said update successfull and when it restarts its onyx again.

How can i get rid of onyx?

There is only a Asia beta and Not for US or Europe Modells.
And Huawei Firmware Finder dont list a oreo Update for VTR-L09 or vtr-l29.

Or it is the Old beta from some Times ago

I'm willing to do they rebrand yo L09, but i want to know how i can extract my oeminfo.bin from the twrp backup, then i can rebrand to my country ROM

You would have to first make a full backup of your current L29 rom in TWRP. Then, recover your full L09 backup. To backup the oeminfo.bin file, you will have to grab the tool off the internet for that. A quick google search will get you there.

After that, recover the full L29 backup you made previously.

Will I get autmoatic update to Oreo or next version or I shall downgrade?

You should get the Oreo update automatically, as well as all future updates. The B180 rom is an original rom from Huawei.

edit: ITS SAFE to use this rom, i can confirm is OREO beta, just replace the files with this metod and be happy with this awsome update, only for the VTR-l29C433!
Edit 2: i ended with a relocked bootloader and frp unlocked, gonna try going back to b180, still tunned
EDIT:3 dont go back to 180, there is no twrp for huawei oreo, so when using the hwota to downgrade to 180, the twrp upload fails, cause in oreo there is another type of partition, so far i the oreo beta is good, but i has some problems but its daily usageble, sorry for bad english, good luck guys

edit: ITS SAFE to use this rom, i can confirm is OREO beta, just replace the files with this metod and be happy with this awsome update, only for the VTR-l29C433!

Nope, but the P10 is Treble ready, but i cant try the phhtreble cause we need a new TWRP with the new partitions

I don't use Windows as I have Chromebook instead. But I also use crouton script with working ADB and fastboot commands for my other devices that need this to work (Moto G 2015 and Amazon fire phone, Xperia Z).

No unfortnuately you´ll have to use windos for this script. I don´t know the ChromeOS possibilties to run emulation, but i would not recommend it anyways, cause of driver problems, you´ll mostly run into.

I used this on my VTR-L09 from Claro Costa Rica, it is now recognized as VTR-L29 and I can confirm it working with 2 SIM Cards.
