I recommend with fastboot. Update packed It should be in the folder where you unzipped ROM. Here are 2 bat files in the ROM itself. One is for a clean installation, and the other for a weekly update. Run the full installation.

There is no problem installing via fastboot. It is much safer than recovery. Its is very easy method.
There is now Android 12. The update file is being installed.

Okay, so some people here obviously bought a Redmi Note 11 Pro from China and want to install the Global ROM on it. As there are so many different Redmi Note 11 Pro Smartphones on the market, let me be clear:



We are talking about the Redmi Note 11 Pro (code name pissarro) or Pro Plus (pissarro pro) from China with a Mediatek Dimensity 900 Chipset.



If you have one of these two phones, you can install the official Global ROM from the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The Global ROM from the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus works with both Chinese phones, regardless if you have the 11 Pro or 11 Pro+



To install the Global ROM, you will do the following:

• Apply for unlock
• Wait… Most likely you will have to wait 360 hours. There is no way around it
• Unlock your phone
• Download the correct Fastboot ROM for your device on your windows PC. You can find it here:

  The name is “Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download”
• Extract the File and put it in the Root-Drive of your Windows (c:/)

Install China ROM and Lock Bootloader will work probably... But it is not safe because this preinstalled "Shop ROMs" often are flashed in a strange way which causes problems if you lock the bootloader. But you SHOULD be safe with the original China ROM. Do it at your own risk and please report here if it works.

About Global ROM Advantages: Many here speak other languages like german, french or spain. China ROM does not have those languages. If you are english speaking, you can use a xiaomi debloat tool and delete all chinese apps and be happy with your device.

Also... About the not working NFC: If you somehow get Magisk on your phone, you can try the magisk hide module. Maybe NFC will work after that, if you are talking about the payment option.

Does flashing the global ROM also change the base band to global? (just want to know if it does or not - and then if it does change it, does it then pick up global bands missing on the China device? (if those bands are being broadcast in your area, that is). Thanks.

No, the Global Rom does not change any LTE Bands. It is not possible. Best regards
