Apparently Google now checks the default address of your account (the one associated to your payment cards), if it's outside of the US it will continue to say it's not supported in your Country.

I tried changing my address (Italy) to my uncle's (who lives in San Francisco) and it lets me in, now it's stuck on adding cards though and my Google PrePaid has disappeared..

Update: Cards have been added correctly and I can select them (using a S.F. address :)) I will test payments as soon as I can.

Works fine for me thanks!

Running Rasbeanjelly build 1 9-19-12

adb push Wallet1.5.apk /system/app
adb push Wallet1.5.apk /data/app

Rebooted and it showed up in app drawer and added card with no problems.

EDIT: tried using it at Meijer to purchase a 87¢ gallon of water and it would not work, is there a price limit/minimum? Error was: Reader detected but last transaction may have been unsuccessful, going to try and troubleshoot and try again tomorrow.

Ok got it working. Not the way you posted though. I had been using ES File Explorer to do this but it never did let me copy to /system/app. This wasn't a problem in the previous version for some reason. I copied that one to /data/app and it automagically worked. This time I had to use ADB shell to cp it to the remounted /system dir. I also forgot how much fun Linux was. I haven't used it for my main OS in about 5 years.

I got the same msg

Yes you need to trick the device into thinking it is from the US but this is going to be useless to anyone out of the US once the prepaid card is removed as you need to have an US address to confirm your card so I would recommend that OP changes the title to US customers only as soon as the prepaid card is removed. Shame that Google are doing this as shops in the UK now accept NFC payments and for that I am confused as to why it hasn't been released in the UK yet

Various Problems

Hello I followed this guide and get the insufficient privileges error. Then I tap in the area around the window and then it gives me the adding your account screen forever. Now if I let the PlayStore update Wallet to the lastest version I get the error of unsupported.
