Goog day, I installed :
1) the last stock G9600ZHS5CSH2 (security patch 2019-08-01)
2) twrp
3) last PE (2019-08-24) / Havoc/ EvolutionX
and nowhere does the auto brightness work for me. Fingerprint can be said not working, the phone vibrates when you touch the scanner, but I couldn’t add. I could only install AOD from Havoc (enableAOD-twrp.zip).
How to fix it?

All it's fixed BRO.

Follow this:

Install the last Samsung Firmware (September security patch)
Follow my guide.
Install the fix I attached
edit vendor/build.prop and chage this line:

ro.vendor.build.fingerprint=samsung... to ro.vendor.build.fingerprint=Samsung

Good news, I'll try.
they say now it’s not everywhere you need to remove the system/bin/rw_system.sh...on phh-treble (Pie) exactly do not need.

Battery life?

I heard something a long while back that if you unlock the boot loader or root your device or something along those lines, you're only able to charge your device to 80%. Is that true?

No. Not true at all.

You can try this. I can’t check now for sure, but this one or similar from FedericoPeranzi zip helped me
- install enableAutoBrightness-twrp.zip. if that doesn't work just delete /vendor/overlay/treble-overlay-auto-brightness.apk

I'm getting 'rm -rf "/system/bin/rw-system.sh" process ended with ERROR: 1' while trying to delete that file...

(I tried moving it, chmod'ing it and all the twrp options I have to do on the file, they all ended with the same error)

What should I do?

in "Mounts" remove the checkbox with "read-only"

Good day, check pls. After installing the last sams firmware we have latest security patch/bootloader and I think because of this there were problems. Latest GSI roms > 08.2019 - installs and configures well but as soon as you reboot, the screen stops responding and turns on spontaneously. Auto-brightness only works with the patch. If we install an old vendor - auto-brightness works without a patch, but after rebooting there remains a bug with the screen.
Old roms, for example EvolutionX (https://evolutionx.ml/) - everything works perfectly. New vendor, auto-brightness only works with a patch, old vendor -works out of the box.
LeoRom v10 (which is based on stock sams) - bug with the screen.
I don’t understand what the problem is

No this does not work for the Verizon model or any other model that is the sm-g960u or sm-g965u.
This only works for Snapdragon models sm-g9600 and sm-g9650.
There is currently no way to install any gsi or treble rom on the locked variants.

Do not delete the file system/bin/rw_system.sh That you will not have the bug with the screen does not respond . I'm at OREO vendor and I had this bug
