I've tried everything like you've said in the first post and always end up in a bootloop with the mi logo. no matter which gsi i use
Format data using fastboot -w (I think that's the command). Clears encryption allowing ROM to bootI've tried everything like you've said in the first post and always end up in a bootloop with the mi logo. no matter which gsi i use
Do i have to do this after flashing the rom or before? And what do you mean with not wiping system? So don't do fastboot erase system?Format data using fastboot -w (I think that's the command). Clears encryption allowing ROM to boot
You also don't need to use Xiaomi EU as base depending on what firmware you're already on and you also you shouldn't ever wipe the system partition
You can do it anytime but I usually do it before I boot for first time.Do i have to do this after flashing the rom or before? And what do you mean with not wiping system? So don't do fastboot erase system?
so just boot into fastboot and do fastboot flash system GSINAME followed by fastboot -w and then reboot? You can do it anytime but I usually do it before I boot for first time.
There is no reason to use fastboot to erase the system so this can be skipped
Is that the stable or the dev EU rom?So it's still like that I don't get any gsi to boot. No matter what I try. Could someone maybe please post another guide on how to do it? I really don't want to stay on miui anymore. Right now I'm on Xiaomi EU 12.1.3
That's the latest stable. It's based on Android 11. Is that maybe the problem? Is that the stable or the dev EU rom?
Could be as the GSI will probably expect a Android 10 vendorThat's the latest stable. It's based on Android 11. Is that maybe the problem?
