[GUIDE] Install GSI on Xiaomi Mi 10

Format data using fastboot -w (I think that's the command). Clears encryption allowing ROM to boot

You also don't need to use Xiaomi EU as base depending on what firmware you're already on and you also you shouldn't ever wipe the system partition

Do i have to do this after flashing the rom or before? And what do you mean with not wiping system? So don't do fastboot erase system?

You can do it anytime but I usually do it before I boot for first time.

There is no reason to use fastboot to erase the system so this can be skipped

so just boot into fastboot and do fastboot flash system GSINAME followed by fastboot -w and then reboot?

Same for me i was gitting bootloop every time
You can avoid it by pressing power button one time after youve finished installations
No need for log press just one press

So it's still like that I don't get any gsi to boot. No matter what I try. Could someone maybe please post another guide on how to do it? I really don't want to stay on miui anymore. Right now I'm on Xiaomi EU 12.1.3

Is that the stable or the dev EU rom?

That's the latest stable. It's based on Android 11. Is that maybe the problem?
Edit: tried everything once again like explained here and ended up in bootloop for another time.

Could be as the GSI will probably expect a Android 10 vendor

okay, then i will install miui 11 now from xiaomi.eu because it is android 10 and try it another time afterwards

I have MIUI 11 Xiaomi.eu Android 10 stable, can I flash this ROM and Gapps, and maybe some progress to remove in existing issues?

Almost all gsi's
But only 2 boots
Caos and aosp
The aosip boots but stays on boot animation
Also i tried flyme os gsi runs normal with some issues
I tried oneplus's oxygen os
Only the one from oneplus 6t boots with tones of issues

Phh's treble patches semms to be needed in the GSI to wrok well.

Both lineage ROMs should also work now
