Superclean 3 milestone 2

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I am helping someone setting up their Samsung Fascinate phone. They are new to Android and I don't want them to be overwhelmed. I want simple, clean interface and I believe for them, its best to go with SUPERCLEAN 3 MILESTONE 2 ROM. All they would ever use are a handful of apps..

In the original post of this thread, Under Section 2 (Step 10), there is a link to download SuperClean 3 Milestone 2. Unfortunately, it is no longer valid and I am having a hard time finding this file: sc3_milestone2_full.zip

If anyone still has it, please post it here.

XDA member hhp_211 has links to the most comprehensive collection of Samsung Fascinate roms & other important fascinate files.
Look back a few pages to post #1110 in this thread to find them.

Yeah, I already checked those files and it seems he doesn't have SUPERCLEAN 3 MILESTONE 2 file.

MAN this thread doesn't work...so why can't I go from blue recovery to DU 4.3.1 or DU 4.4.2 then?

CAN someone take there phone & go to back to stock & go to DU 4.3.1 or DU 4.4.2

here is the latest build DU KK 4/09 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=13728
You're probably tired of hearing from me by now but this method works to get you up to 4.3.
you'll have to follow 4.4 thread instructions, and even reading thru several of the first pages of a cm11 thread to find gems and clues to unravel the mystery that is 4.4...

Once on cm11 just be sure to first flash one of the recovery zips that has the same type recovery as the ROM you want to use, then flash ROM
Our fascinate 4.4 just seems to be picky about needing be of the same type
so if the ROM has twrp, choose a zip.
The dates of the zips are also there to help you go back to that ROMs thread to see if any problems or other such things might be necessary to get it to work.

If you're not up for reading all about the different 4.4 ROMs and their various quirks you'll be forever stuck...

boots DU stuck in boot loop then go back to recovery brings me back to CWM 4
flashed 2.1 cm11 4.4 twrp wont flash
so when you flash V2.1 , what is the exact error that it gives you?

did you try this

if you have been following my guide

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776089
after you have odin to CWM blue recovery 4 [ie: cwm4_fixed_for_cm7]
what is " flash your 4.2.x ROM of choice,,," that you have chosen to use?

did any of this happen?
it will auto reboot into any newer recovery [[ ie: cwm 6.0.x.x, or new TWRP 2.x.x, or Devil Recovery ]] ,,, never go back to the [cwm4_fixed_for_cm7] recovery,, ,, unless you have ODIN'ed back to stock,,, ,,, this is normal,,, and now you will need to select install zip from sd [again]::
and choose to install/flash your 4.2.x ROM of choice AGAIN,

if it auto reboots you back into this same recovery again [meaning: any newer recovery],,, still that is fine/normal ,,,,,,, simply install/flash your 4.2.x ROM of choice AGAIN,,,, It may also give you an "Error Code",,, still that is fine/normal ,,,,,,, simply install/flash your 4.2.x ROM of choice AGAIN,,,
...[[[ the recovery style and version is determined by the ROM you are installing, some have standard CWM Recovery, some have Hellybean Touch Recovery,,, some have TWRP Recovery, and some have a blue Touch Recovery version ]]]...when finished installing your ROM,,

if may auto reboot and load the ROM,, if not manually choose to Reboot Rom,,, and ,,, Wait ,,, patiently,,, ,,, maybe as much as 8-10 minutes for it to boot all the way up.
you may ultimately have to flash 1 more time,, some ROMs seem do be more finicky than others.
After that you really should be almost good to go.

Okay when I flash 2.1 on CWM 5 finding opening update Can't open zip (bad) installation aborted
then I can flash CWM 6.0.4.9 in CWM 4 & CWM 5 without a issue

EH03 Stock Link is dead

Does anyone have recommendation to get odin flashable EH03 file? The link on imnuts is down and I don't see alternates. Nor am I seeing other versions which are an acceptable TW alternate. Please advise.

ROM missing

Here is a guide I have put together for the Samsung SCH-I500 Fascinate.
Section:3 How to flash any MTD 2.3.7 GB rom such as cm7,miui,vgb etc...

Step 1: Download these files to your pc,

Odin- http://www.mediafire.com/?5y0vkhz85w3j4cz

Samsung driver- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25089906/SAM...ile_Phones.exe

Download cwm4 fixed for cm7- http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1311907538

EH03 rom- http://www.imnuts.org/downloads/fasc..._GB_CM.tar.md5

Atlas_v2.2 pit- http://www.mediafire.com/?r2mi80911vgjjjz

Step 2: Download latest CM7.2 Nightly and Gapps the devices sd card.( MIUI does not need gapps)

CM7.2- http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=fascinatemtd

Gapps 12/14/11 for cm7- http://www.mediafire.com/?dm1qsm4rwapkeqx

Step 3: power off phone and pull battery.

Step 4: open odin on your computer.

Step 5: plug in factory usb cable and hold the volume down button. Yellow
triangle should appear saying "download mode".

Step 6: click on PDA in odin and find the stock EH03 rom you downloaded to your computer in step 1.

Step 7: click on PIT in Odin and select the atlas 2.2 pit you downloaded to your pc(make sure repartition is checked).

Step 8: click start and wait 5min, box in left hand corner of odin will say PASS, then click reset.

Step 9: unplug usb cable, put battery back in and boot phone.

Step 10: power off phone and pull battery.

Step 11: plug-in the factory usb cable and hold the volume down key, get into "download mode".

Step 12: open Odin, click PDA and select cwm4 fixed for cm7 you downloaded in step 1, hit start, should only take 10 sec, then say pass. Click reset.

Step 13: unplug usb cable and insert battery.

Step 14: with three fingers hold the power, and both vol. up/down until you see the samsung logo appear the second time and let off. you should be in blue recovery 4.

Step 15: Wipe Data/Factory reset, then under the "advanced" menu wipe dalvik cache.

Step 16: use soft menu key on bottom left of phone and get back to main page in cwm. Find and select install zip from sd, then select chose zip and find the rom you pushed to your sd card in step 2. Select it and it will take you to a secondary menu, arrow down select yes.

Step 17: once the rom finishes installing reboot.

Step 18: Long press power key, select reboot, select recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, install gapps 12/14 zip from sd that you down loaded in step 2, Reboot!

If your getting "E cant mount sd card" or "sd card damaged" errors then I suggest replacing your sd card with a class 6 or higher

Does anyone have this rom https://rootzwiki.com/topic/30744-alpharom411-cyanogenmod-10-for-samsung-fascinate-updated-0819/ ? I really need it.
