ive seen ppl..who did the wire trick for 6 hrs (120 times) ,and one guy 90 times and couple of guys ..more than 50 times..and a lot of guys...in just single digited number times
so now ..see where you stand..the thing is you need good timing and also the without HTCdev method has pretty narrow wire trick range for the second tap (only 0.15 sec )
i.e something like range from 1.75-0.075 and 1.75+0.075 should do the trick
wow! I guess I'll just keep trying. I have connected the second time quicker slower I have tried many variables I will just try more.
If I S-OFF my Sensation with this procedure (no htc dev unlock) and i later go back to stock with RUU, what will be written in fastboot: Relocked or Locked?
And is it that easy to just install RUU or is more complicated?

X_X! weird.. and you have tried in other pc? have you a usb hub? cuz is not recommended to use it when mods you phone. Try to connect your phone always in the integrated USB ports (I/O back panel in desktops, directly usb ports in laptops), and try in other pc.

Yeah I am directly hooked up. No hubs. I have bot tried my other computer cuz it never works for this stuff. It will say Locked. Only the HTC Dev process will affect the actual value in memory that gives rise to the flags' messages.
Run an .exe version of a RUU to get everything stock easy. Run a couple fastboot commands to do S-on.
Like nothing ever happened to it.
I wish to know if this method could be ported to the Rezound, there are some temp root methods available for our stock GB firmware and this would be handy.
Keep your phone in bootloader.. Connect it to pcwow, it's working.

Open the controlbear folder
And open command window there ( hold shift + right click then click on the white space and click on " open command prompt here ")
Then type " controlbear -f" without quotes that's all
You will be reverted to normal

first make sure device is connected properly (read the OP again)
no htc sync and if you have adb/fastboot setup already you need to copy the scripts ..
if you read the OP and requirements properly..you wont have connection issues
no that is not the problem..
something is messing up the connections
ok try this

extract the zip ..and run it from any where (double click it ) only once (i.e. 1 time for 1 pc reboot)
just before running temproot again
then follow the complete process and see
