Thanks guys. Done it on the second attempt. Would of been first if I had got every thing together first of all. (Took ages to find a paperclip and insulating tape.

So my repaired Phone with hboot 1.29 is now s=off
On boot loader screen it still says locked but s=off underneath????????

Next. Root and recovery. Best way forward please??

First get the juopunutbear bootloader flashed..

Check troubleshoot point #3.. And sign section of flashing bootloader.. Do that

Then root using my one click root.. Install the 4EXT app from 4EXT thread in sensation Development section and open it.. Install the recovery done

I had 4ext before the phone went swimming down the toilet. So stick with what I know I guess.

I was going to follow Ganesh one click root to root anyway but wondered if the 2 (root and recovery) could be done together?

Does the point 3 troubleshootiong thing, as in, it still says locked have to be done via adb. (bit of a newbie with adb. I can get there eventually but if there is a alternative? I know my CID.

JB with sense will be shortly available.. As the ville c2 kernel source along with adreno drivers got released... Have an eye on viper rom.. They will be updating

This is for sensation only.. But the general steps of juopunutbear do apply for the other phones.. Check the troubleshoot point #3 (don't follow this wore trick timing.. It's for sensation)

This is some exceptional case.. You need to go to juopunutbear official irc channel... unlimited and ask their help.. Hyuh there can help you

Did you extracted the zip?
Also the zip should have adb.exe in it..
And don't run the script as an administrator

After achieving soff.. No need to do htc dev unlock to getting unlocked bootloader.. You can just flash the revolutionary patched 3.32 firmware again.. Which will give you a better unlocked bootloader

Hi there, need some help. I did the revolutionary metod to 1.17 hboot and i got the s-off but by mistake updated to 1.29 hboot and is locked now. There's no more revolutionary hboot on it but still have the s-off . im on ginger bread rom. And does not bootup . What can i do? Pls help tx in advance

Hi,

Locked only means that you are restricted in the fastboot commands that you can use.

If you want ,you can change it back to a 1.27 hboot,which is unlocked.
Look HERE

Do not forget to check the md5 checksum.
