Re root again
And do the unlock using method #2 that is the best way to sim unlock
Also as you are on 1.27 hboot you can't use method #2 directly.. Go to the last pages of the thread.. And there an alternative way of doing method #2 was written use that for unlock

Hello
I have found that post, but I still have problem with the root. I have the superuser apk installed, but no root... Thats what I am asking... If I relock and restock the rom with RUU and then re root with recovery, s off, etc... will it work ? or if i factory restore will it return all values to default ?
Thank you

use usb 2.0 ports
do you have htc drivers installed?
have you enabled usb debugging mode from settings?

I have done all above except the usb 2.0, it was on 3.0 but it was working last night...
I changed it on 2.0 and still it stays on bootloader menu
FASTBOOT USB

BOOTLOADER
REBOOT
REBOOT BOOTLOADER
POWER DOWN

and on cmd again waiting for device

I noticed that the thread you gave me is for S-ON, I am S-OFF is it a problem ?

really strange:confused:
ok do it from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1472298
step 1 only
it has 3 options to flash 4ext.start with the third one
before flashing check md5 sums

edit:nope it doesn't matter.flashing a recovery is the same in any case
the whole guide is for flashing roms with S-ON
you don't need the whole guide just only step 2(flashing a recovery);)

Hi,

Are you sure you are using the checker correctly?
Maybe,look for a different checker.
There are many free ones.
I use THIS ONE

:)
Ok so with your MD5 checker it confirmed that the downloaded file is correct. Which means I can flash it safely right ?
Thanks mate. Will post what happened

no
actually put the pg58img.zip in the root of your sdcard
then boot your device into bootloader
from there it will recognize the zip and it will ask you to do the update
that's why i told you to start with option three
it doesn't require pc;)

Hmm
What's happening here?
adb won't work on bootloader/fastboot period
Can you describe me what you are trying to do?

Edit: it seems you have problem with rooting where the one click root tool is not working right?
And to root your device you are trying to flash su zip file.. Which requires custom recovery

So to flash custom recovery
You need to use fastboot command only (and only fastboot command works when the device on bootloader)

Now copy the recovery.img you have downloaded to your adb/fastboot folder on the PC

And open terminal from there
And type this

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

That will flash the recovery
