I tried this tutorial many times without success (in some reason QDLoader was disappeared).
But (maybe it will be useful for other members), after 6. step, without unpluging the phone and without doing 4. step again, i immediately press download in QFIL. This way was successful!

Sorry, there was typo in 6th step. It is just for checking if you have installed drivers correctly. (you can skip that)

K... So this is the deal. It seams that I can't install Qualcomm USB drivers on Windows 10(or at least I haven't found a way to do so)... Anyone else had this problem??

DriverInstaller64 won't start at all. I even put it in Windows Vista compatibility mode - still nothing. I'm running Win10 64 bit ver.

I have this problem too. But I'm using Windows 10. Does anyone have this problem and was able to solve it? I'm stuck with a locked bootloader, without Gapps and I can't go backwards ou upwards in ROM version. The code *#*#8899*#*# doesn't do anything either, no new devices in Windows device manager.

I wasn't able to install the Qualcomm drivers either but the Qfile still worked for me. It seems some lenovo phones come with the drivers in the phone that automatically install when you connect it via usb

I really like that phone, the screen is gorgeous and the build quality is excellent... However, if you don't manage to unlock the bootloader (like me) then you're stuck at 5.0.1, and considering that Android 7 is already out there :(

I too love the design. Its F**King awesome :) I cant help buying.

Then good luck with the purchase! :good:

And keep us updated if you manage to unlock the bootloader, unfortunately the feedback in this thread is very sparse ... :crying:

HI I have same build as you (K920_S288_160224_ROW), did you manage to do it? Also I do not understand, I presume I have to root it at first? How do I do it on this build, there are some how to's but none has our build in supported list :(
    Thanks Niko

ps Kako je u Bugarskoj komsija :) pozdrav iz Beograda
    Zdravo, nikods!

Yes, the unlock procedure was successful.
I had SuperSU installed on the stock K920_S288_160224_ROW before that. But, I don't think root is needed when you unlock the bootloader.
When you flash a CM/LA-based ROM later on, you will have root in it.

I used QPST 2.7.437 (because I had it already installed for the root procedure) instead of the suggested here QPST 2.7.422.
Be sure to follow exactly the unlock guide. And also, do as I did - when you choose the necessary files, exit QPST, then start it again, check the paths in QPST and then do the unlock.
Far as I remember, it required a bit of speed with 3 hands altogether to start flashing while port open, but it was successful after all.

    Pozdrav and ziveli! ;)
