hello guys! i just got this tablet! and it reboot and crashed so often! i downloaded 3 firmware 24, 32, 34 all same problem!! some time tablet works for few hours thn crash. and I cant updated to version 35 for some reason, every time i download the OTA it fail to install ! please if some1 know how to fix these crashes let me know!

I have the LET Model.

Random reboots is problem of stock rom(unfortunately Lenovo is asleep)...many users have the same problem & the Lenovo know it(wipe data/factory reset will solve the problem only temporarily-for a while!)

So it mean the reboots are not because of hardware fault!? and there is no custom ROM either for this tablet right?

Maybe is rom problem (maybe, sizes of partitions,etc)
For tb-8703f BT doesn't unlock !
No custom roms & generally no developing for this device

It downloaded the OTA file "TB_8703X_S000034_170525_ROW_TO_TB_8703X_S000035_170919_ROW_WC3DDC383C"
When I press Update in the software all it do copy the zip file to the root of the tablet and renamed it update.zip
nothing else.

please can you guide me how to apply this OTA properly.?

I no longer have the device but
you can choose local update from OTA , after you have sent the newest file(update zip) to the Internal
If your device not have "local" update read here : https://support.lenovo.com/gr/en/solutions/ht117027
(you have the correct lenovo usb drivers on pc?you can find in OP )
your pc correctly recognizes the device as mtp?
(you can find the same file -ota update-in post#2)

I'm having a hard time reverting to stock using QFIL so I've started a new thread @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/p8-tb-8703f-qfil-recovery-problems-t3743293 so this one doesn't get cluttered. Running out of ideas...

Can I dirty flash trought TWRP? Do I have to remove recovery from the zip? I have adoptable storage, does it make a mess if I dirty flash?
Actually if is not 7.0 upgrade does it worth the upgrade if it messup the adoptable storage and it wipe everything?

My opinion : you can first return to stock rom , take the update and then you can do what you want (for example root)

mmmmm, starting all over is a big pain...if is not 7.0 maybe I won't update.
In the zip OTA there is a recovery.img.p, that means that if I flash it it will delete TWRP...

Is not Nougat (never for this device by Lenovo)
Yes,will get back to stock rom (perhaps,and bootloop it is possible on this device)

QFIL/QPST Error

Pleasehelp guys.
I am trying to update my tab but I am always getting error. Yes I installed all drivers and tried inserting cable in every port.
I can't use QFIL (1st method) because browse button is grayed out in that method for me as you can see in first pic. If use QFIL version 2, it's grayed out unless I select Flat method which forces me to use 2nd method (QPST) and I get error in it always. If I use QFIL v1 for first method (QFIL) then download button stays grayed out unless I add XML and patch thing.
In all, I am forced to used QPST method and no matter which port I use, which QPST driver I install I always get error. I don't know why. Please help me guys... :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I did everything. I disabled driver signature, tried different ports, even changed computer but still I am getting error. I even download all 3 roms and tried on them. Used QPST inside QFIL but getting error. I am on S24 ROM version. I download version S29 with Lenovo Moto Smart but it just downloads rom and put it in inside phone internal storage by renaming it to update.zip and in recovery it doesn't pick it..... I don't know how I update it.....Also in this S24 Rom, if I disabled any apps and restart tablet then it just goes in "App Optimizing" boot loop...... WHat can I do?

maybe,sometimes needed Install the VC ++ environment

perhaps before than all, you can try Settings > backup & reset > Network settings reset ...

I can't get around this sahara error. Tried every version of qfil, qpsl and other stuff I found on the internet (moving firmware folder). Luckly, my tablet isn't bricked. I just wanted to flash stock in order to update to latest firmware. Can anyone confirm if the latest update fix the wifi disconnects or play store stuck at 100%? I can't find the changelogs of the updates.

Hi daitalos, I was referred by you from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75703866&postcount=147. May I know which is the correct mbn file I should be putting inside browse? There are a few mbn inside:

• emmc_appsboot.mbn
• rpm.mbn
• sbl1.mbn
• tz.mbn
