Hi, I was on H90010f lollipop 5.1.1 and wanted to upgrade to marshmallow. So I downloaded H90020j from your link and used LGUP to successfully flah it but now I'm getting google play services have stopped error constantly.
Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong, and is there a way to get back to lollipop if marshmallow doesn't work.
This is my only phone

Did you do a factory reset after flashing??

Or did you try clearing the cache for google play and google play services?

You can't downgrade due to antirollback.

Tried clearing cache and rebooting multiple times, then reflashed to rule out bad flashing.
Still same result. Trying resetting right now.

P.S I have also downloaded a kdz file from the same folder, but LG flashtool 2014 is getting stuck on error connecting with server

Factory resetted multiple times but no luck.
Can anyone who encountered this issue help me

"Cannot connect to server" is not an error. You drag that window out of the way. Its supposed to say that.

When the device is running MM or later you never should use the old flashtool. 1. It won't work, and 2 you can possibly perm brick your device as it won't warn you of antirollback if you flash an older firmware.

You should ALWAYS perform a factory reset after flashing a kdz or tot.

But the force close issue your having is very common on both the G4 and V10 after updating.

Flashed kdz with LGUP, then performed factory reset. LG VPN error pops up twice, and fingerprint and security option in settings cause the settings app to crash.
What can I do to get the fingerprint working at least?

Only fix for that issue is a warranty replacement. That's a extremely common issue with the V10 AT&T model sadly

Is there any way to downgrade to lollipop or will it brick the device for sure?
I live in Pakistan and bought this second hand so no warranty of any kind.

You can attempt but only use LGUP. It's risky but if there's antirollback changes LGUP should stop you. But I'm sure 99% you won't be able to downgrade.

After reading through a lot of forums regarding my problem, it would seem my V10 is not H900 at all but another model somehow refurbished to look like this.
I'm not sure why it allowed flashing of at&t firmware at all. I'm going to take off the back tomorrow and check the model on the motherboard.

Which is also extremely common with buying devices used or referb.

Thing is you won't be able to flash any other firmware other than the one that's on it now. The only fix will still be a motherboard replacement.
