I just reread the OP but could not locate any references to a 5.1.1 kdz for the H901 or a download link for it.

Did I miss it somehow? Please clarify....

Since we're was it referenced that the person has a H901? You prob cannot downgrade an H901 past a certain point or you may brick it

I haven't looked for your specific rom, for what I know, not all roms are available for different V10 variant, most roms is available for the H860N.

Update: I just looked in the op's post, there is a H901 KDZ rom, but not sure which version it is, but I think it's a MM rom, not LL.

You are correct, there was no indication of anything beyond the post being in a V10 thread so it could have been any variant. Even H901... Which is the reason I asked what kdz that was...

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, the H901 kdz is the MM version. It would have been nice to find the LP version as well. :(

I am sorry, as not talking to you. Someone said he was able to go back to 5.1.1 from 6.0. Sorry for that.

---------- Post added at 06:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:04 PM ----------

How is this troiling, just because you don't know how to do it, doesn't mean other can't do it, just use the software downloaded from LG and use KDZ rom, all the instruction are posted in this forum, do some research before posting.
I did do my research. I meant going back down to 5.1.1 on 6.0... from a LG H900 (AT&T) It is currently not possible, so when he said I was curious. or I misread, and if thats the case then its my fault, and I apologize.

Erm

Guys (or gals) I just followed the instructions given in the topic (1st post by Hyleton) to downgrade to 5.1.1. from 6.0, mine is an LG H960A bought from Dubai and I am running the European version of 5.1.1 as made available on the link below:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v10/general/kdz-download-lollipop-kdz-10c-lg-servers-t3332348

Working like a dream so far, no issues hangs or bugs at all!! Sorry if I created any confusion by not mentioning my model no (H960A UAE version) or the KDZ no (V10c)

:D:D:D:D

Hope this helps, Cheers & happy downgrading! Android 6.0 Sucksssssssssssssssssssssss :(

Verizon LG v10 Brick??

I did the roll-back to LP 5.1 using LGUP and the directions on page one. After one failed attempt, there was an error at 9%. I tried it again and it when through the whole process but somewhere around 85% the phone went blank even though LGUP kept moving forward. At 100% my phone was a brick. Any chance of getting this back? My phone was not rooted. I just didn't like MM because of battery drain. Wanted to go back to LP to test it for a few days and see if battery usage was better. Any suggestions to recover phone?

If your phone is a "brick" that's exactly what it means you cannot fix that.

What is your phone model?

If your phone shows no signs of life no download mode etc, it's sadly dead.

I think you can do a full recovery using LGs software, as what the post above stated, it depend on which version V10 you are using, and trying to flash a version that has no success rate is asking for trouble.

Phone is the Verizon VS990 and it auto updated to MM when I first powered up last week when the phone was brand new. But battery drain was so bad. I could literally watch the battery tick down while watching a youtube video. So I found many people complaining and battery drain with MM and then found this thread to go back to stock. But alas ... it did not work! Any final thoughts? No chance of forcing a factory reset?

What firmware did you try flashing? You may not can downgrade that variant or downgrade to low. So does the phone even power up? If not nothing can be done other than try and warranty.

Not if they "bricked" it. No signs of life

I wasn't sure if it's totally bricked, so a try on recovery might work.

They have the feature on the software so it's worth the try, even if it didn't work, at least you know.:fingers-crossed:

Phone will not power up at all. Cannot turn on or due factory reset. Think this is going back to Verizon. Thanks for the quick reply!

I had mine "bricked", no sign of life after deleting files with Titanium Backup, still managed to recover with LGUP, with the PC connected by USB and LGUP on, I kept pressing vol up, vol down, power, all combinations possible, until suddenly the PC recognized the phone and I was able to flash the TOT file again :good:

That wasn't bricked. That was a soft brick due to deleting files.

Hey, guys.
I'm considering going back to LP, I miss root.
I've updated to MM in the first day so I don't know, but performance wise is there any difference between LP and MM? Especially for multitasking.
Thanks in advance.
