@t-shock I found another small issue:
The volume HUD animation when disappearing isn't as smooth as when it's coming in from the side.
I notice this small animation again especially when watching a video in the background.
Not dramatic but still noticeable for my eyes lol

SO far the beta3 looks smoother than previous versions. Battery is improving and also pop-upping of Messenger and othe rapplication is fixed. Quite close to be stable, there is just something idk if depending on the firmware or on the applications on Android 11 not really optimized yet.

Guys I have a tip how to access recovery menu without ADB to wipe cache for example.

Some plug in the USB C Headphones when the phone is turned off. Then do the usual combo on the phone and voilà you're in the recovery menu!

@t-shock I know know others here always reported it but as today the S20 5G of my father got OneUi 3 I was able to compare and confirm that the S20 has definitely other app opening and closing animations the the Note 10 Beta build we are using.
Basically the animation is the same as in 2.5.
Here a link to a comparison video I made:

Maybe with the 4th Beta the S20 animation will already be implemented but it would be nice if you could provide feedback about it in Samsung Members Beta Community maybe including the video!

Cheers!

Look on how the app closes/minimizes on the S20 compared to the Note 10. Or when swiping from the side to close the app like in the video with the settings app the animation is slower and smoother on the S20.
On the Note 10 the Animations are too fast and therefore not smooth looking.

Could it be because of the difference in screen refresh rate? For me beta 3 animations are smooth enough right now. But maybe we could expect some more smoothness in the coming beta.

Nah even on 60hz it's a complete different animation which is slower and makes it look way smoother.

Keep in mind, you are comparing 2 totally different devices: S20 vs Note10!

Did you consider there's a possibility it's meant this way?

When you were comparing your Note10 with an S10 on beta too, I would say: OK; but now...

Of course these are 2 different devices. But the animation style is completely different when the app minimizes after swiping home. Even on 60hz this animation looks smoother than on the Note 10+
Maybe it's meant to be that way but I hope the Note gets the new animation as well.

I am really sorry but I don't see any difference in your video :p

I think it's safe to say that the animation difference is subjective :) Now let's crossfingers for beta 4 to arrive this week as early Christmas gift :)
