New Beta today for Christmas?😅😂😂

I remember 2 years ago exactly on the 24th the Beta program for Android 9 and OneUI 1 ended and the official firmware was rolled out.

Check the option like my screenshot below then check file name extension again.
Alternatively you can rename it by powershell / cmd (ask Google).
Now I have a problem with updating it.. hahah :D

I don't have an SD card, so I tried ADB method.. did enable dev settings,... when I try to update via ADB it says adb: failed to read command: No error and on the phone it says installation from ADB completed with status 1
installation aborted

Try again using latest SDK Platform Tools here: SDK Platform Tools release notes | Android Developers.
Btw you don't need to enable dev options, just reboot to bootloader then choose "Apply update from ADB".

The only problem I'm experiencing with Beta3 is notifications. I have a few apps that should pop up but don't. It's as if they get killed in the background even though I've set them not to sleep. Also, default notification sounds not following the set default notification. It kind of just selects some random notification sound even though I've not set it as that.

Tiny bug I found.
When you open an incognito page in Chrome, and you pull down the notifications, the blur is gone.
Can't take a screenshot of that.
It's also like that in Banking apps. Guess the UI can't make a blur over the application because of permissions being blocked by the app. In these apps you also can't take a Screenshot.

I have the same issue, notification background becomes semi-transparent (instead of blur) when using browsers in incognito mode or apps with policy that block taking screenshot.

Beta 3 might be the last update next one should the official update.

I don't know really. They are also just guessing as well.
I think we will get a 4th Beta with some minor fixes and improved stability. For example the US Beta users have the volume panel on the left side and we don't have it already.
But yeah final release is near like I would expect it in the first 2 weeks of January when everything goes well.
