Hi,

Will those who have flashed the final release / stable version (TLL/TLF) receive further updates in future, such as monthly security patches etc. OTA?

Cheers!

The answer to your question is in Post #1...

"Unfortunately, you wont be able to receive ANY more OTAs after installing this specific update UNLESS you are enrolled to the beta programme!!!"

Yes, but having the Beta program being finished, and having the final build being released and deployed (currently flashed the 6GB stable TLL ROM) will the above mentioned apply?

I think it only relates for Beta updates during the Beta program and not for other updates such as security patches for the stable version. If my understanding is wrong, what would be the solution to continue receiving further updates from Samsung?
-Flash the older version (Android 10) and wait for OTA to get 11?

Thanks!

Hello, I successfully solved the battery usage indicator but I have another bug I cannot solve.
I cannot switch off the Always on display. No matter what I do it reverts back to always on.
I toggle it off in the quick settings panel for it to switch back on.
I deleted the cash under apps similar like soving the battery issue but it refused to get deactivated. I cannot deactivate nor change any settings - its is always on.

No it is not. Weird error you are getting as I do not have that issue. I can however not switch the Group Notifications in Whatsapp to silent. Even if it is on silent the Notification sound still comes through. I bypassed it by switching group notifications off under the app settings. Not in Whatsapp but in the actual app settings under the settings menu and selecting apps. This should be a whatsapp issue I guess and whatsapp will need to fix it and make it compatible with Android 11

Some feedback on my problem with the Always on display. The app AOD notify was keeping my AOD locked on. Deleted the app and now I have full control over my AOD. Under android 10 I had no issue's bu after the update both are no longer compatible.

Hello guy's, I am on the beta program 1, is it possible to receive the android 11 stable version ota without going back to Android 10?

Hello everyone! If you need help updating to stable, here is my tutorial:

1. Download and extract both Frija and Odin.
2. Launch Frija.
3. Check the "Auto" button. Write your device's Model Number and CSC
(Your model number is at Settings, then About phone).
4. Click on "Check Update".
5. Click on "Download" and choose a folder to save the firmware.
6. After the download is complete, extract the firmware .zip.
7. Launch Odin.
8. Click the "BL" button and select the file that starts with "BL_...".
9. Click the "AP" button and select the file that starts with "AP_...".
10. Click the "CP" button and select the file that starts with "CP_...".
11. Click the "CSC" button and select the file that starts with "HOME_CSC_..." (Selecting CSC_... will wipe your data!).
12. Turn off your phone.
13. Boot into Download Mode by holding both Volume Up + Volume Down buttons and then connecting it to your PC.
14. After booting into Download Mode, press the Volume Up button to continue.
15. Back to Odin, click "Start".
16. The flashing process will be over when "PASS" is shown in Odin and your phone reboots. You may close Odin and disconnect the phone from your PC then.
17. Congrats! You have successfully flashed the latest update to your device.
18. After your phone is on, turn it off again.
19. Boot into Recovery Mode by connecting to your PC and holding Volume Up + Power Button (+ Bixby Button).
20. Navigating with the Volume Buttons and selecting with the Power Button, go to "Wipe cache partition".
21. Select "Yes".
22. Select "Reboot system now".

I'm wondering when we will get the January Security Patch.
I've read in South Korea they have some sort of issue with the latest Beta Firmware.
Also im hoping we will get the new animation regarding app opening etc. with the next update.

Here is the link for beta3
It should be flashed only on top of TL3

So Android 11 OneUI 3 beta was announced for your Note10+ N975F in the UK.
I was able to capture the link after enrolling to the beta.

    Short guide:
If you do not understand how to install it, please stick to the stable version.
Betas are usually filled with bugs and a user with not much knowledge on these stuff, will frick out if anything goes wrong

After downloading it, rename it to ota.zip to get rid of the .bin extension
Reboot your phone to "Recovery Mode" and sideload the new "ota.zip" through your pc using adb tools to do so
    ADB Tools are available here

    SD-card method: by @henklbr
    1. Download the bin file and rename it to update.zip (by going to file options in win10 you can select to view the file extensions. This makes the renaming process much easier and safer, and avoids renaming the file to update.zip.zip)
    2. Copy it to the root directory of your SDcard.
    3. Shut down your phone.
    4. Hold simultaneously Power+volume up buttons to get into stock recovery.
    5. Using your volume keys navigate to "update via SdCard" and press power button to select it.
    6. Again using volume keys navigate to the file "update.zip" and press power button to select it.
    7. Update will start. Leave it till it completes. It will take some time.
    8. Phone will reboot by itself and load android.

    Beta1 ONLY FOR TJ4 stable!!
Please install it over TJ4, not older or newer stable versions
Make sure that you have installed the European version and NOT the StarWars themed one
    Here is the link
Here is the mirror on GDrive, which is already renamed to BETA1.zip

    Beta2
It MUST be flashed over Beta1
    Link here

    Beta3
It must be installed over Android 10 TL3 and NOT over Beta2
    Link here

    Warning:
Unfortunately, you wont be able to receive ANY more OTAs after installing this specific update UNLESS you are enrolled to the beta programme!!!
ONLY N975F, NO 5G, NO ANYTHING ELSE APART N975F
After installing the beta update it isn't possible to reboot in to recovery via the VolUP+power button.
You will have to use ADB for that: "./adb reboot recovery"

    Im currectly installing beta3 myself
Let's see if the battery is any better!!

Hello friends. For those who are now on beta2 and do not want to dump data, upgrade to beta3 then:
    1. Flash odin to N975FXXS6DTL3 with home_csc, remove "Auto_reboot".
    2. Reboot into recovery and update from SD or adb to beta 3.
Everything works, the data is in place.:cowboy:
