Hello everyone, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help and support! The problem was solved after I installed the drivers and everything I needed on another (clean) computer. Tomorrow I will describe the programs and drivers I used, for the next one who will fall into this situation.

Hello all, I need some direction here, I have onplus9 global, it has an unlocked bootloader and it was root with Magisk before the update; Phone update to Android 12 (build number is LE2115_11_C.48).


My mistake: I did reboot and lost root on step 4 (first post)


Option 1: With full OTA Access (BA/DA) :

Step 1 - Get & install the full OTA zip file​

1. Go to System-Update or update get the OTA using Oxygen Updater
   
   2. Tap OK when the message that you are rooted appears
   
   3. Tap "Download and install" or local update if OTA from Oxygen Updater
   
   4. Wait until you are prompted to reboot - DO NOT REBOOT NOW!

What is the easier way to root and keep my data?

Go back and re-read the first post. I was on A12 and rooted my phone with the directions given!

Question, I've followed all the steps from the post and root is successful on the C48 firmware, but the magisk apps (and screenshots from the 1st post) don't add up anymore.

Maybe It's because of OOS12 and A12 but when installing magisk, the app renames itself Alpha and the update tekst is now ... Chinese I think (see screenshot). The App version is: 4eb71830-alpha (25101) (32) and Magisk version is the same.

Just to be sure that i'm not running a bogus magisk app.

I'm running the EU version if that makes any difference but temporarily booted with the AA magisk boot image and used direct install.

You're installing Magisk Alpha, a modded Magisk.

I'm on LE2123 with OxygenOS 12 C.48 (LE2123_11_C.48) - I Tried everything to get root - nothing worked. I had either "unable to detect target image" or "no connection available".
Then i used another patched Image and everything worked fine. So here is what I did:
1. I Used the patched image from here:

C.48 boot.img and patched boot image(files successfully attached)

just in case anyone needs these. Taken directly from the oxygen update file, extracted from the payload.bin

2. Magisk v24.3 from here:

3. fastboot mode, "fastboot boot magisk_patched-24300_ZzKbU.img"
4. Reboot, installed Magisk. Then Magisk asked for something else to install and rebootet automatically.
5. Power Off, fastboot mode, "fastboot boot magisk_patched-24300_ZzKbU.img"
6. Opened Magisk (still Version 24.3), direct install, reboot, everyting works fine

This is some kind of failure C.60 is supposed to be here but it is not. There is a C.61 on the horizon, but it is not officially here either. What happened to this company?

What can you say about Magisk 25.1?
Does everything work? Did it update well - did you have to disable any mod?

The Magisk upgrade from 24.3 to 25.1 went smoothly.
Installed on the current slot of course.
Zygisk-LSPosed, Shamiko, USNFix or other modules posed no problem.

Now let me see what these Shizuku are
