Correction. If Post #From where does one get a "patched boot" image for C.61 (AA) #1276
I have done all of that twice now. Each time, on reboot I just get a black screen. Linux syslog on my PC shows that the phone is booting into MSM mode, as if the boot partition was invalid. If you hit uninstall in Magisk, there is an option to restore images. If you hit that, it leaves Magisk installed and restores the stock boot images. If that works for you, you just go ahead and do that, install the OTA, and go back to Magisk before rebooting and go Install > inactive slot. Done.

I used it for my LE2125 (AA).It is unclear to me whether that image is for the LE2125(AA), or for a different region. Anyone?
I don't know what to tell you, it's working for others. Try installing C.61, rebooting, installing C.61 a second time to get it on both slots, then use the MSM Tool and go to read back mode with F8 and extract one of the boot partitions, manually patch it with Magisk, then boot it in fastboot, open Magisk, and do the direct install option.I have done all of that twice now. Each time, on reboot I just get a black screen. Linux syslog on my PC shows that the phone is booting into MSM mode, as if the boot partition was invalid. After a long, LONG press of the power button, I got it to power-off, and a subsequent reboot got me back into the original C.48 environment.
If rooted you need full installI'm not able to install c.61, get every try an error. Disabled fist all modules, reboot, then clean magisk uninstall. What do i do wrong? (LE2125 with global rom)
Ps: Is it possible that i can't install the incremental and i have to wait for the full?
Bootloader unlock requires full installHe's not rooted -- uninstalled Magisk. But bootloader is unlocked, like most people here.
Incremental is installable by restoring the boot image through magisk restore.
Yes
Try to restore the boot image via ADB (see page 1 for the correct one). Perhaps Magisk has failed to restore the boot image. For me, Magisk restored the boot image and uninstalled correctly and the (incremental) update C.61 installed without any problems.I'm not able to install c.61, get every try an error. How did you update? Through OTA, System Update app or Local install? What was your previous OOS version?Try to restore the boot image via ADB (see page 1 for the correct one). When I follow the steps, restore boot in magisk, and then try to update. I get an error that it can't.
Also, I don't have the yellow warning on boot anymore. Though I am still rooted.
Thanks!
That is, if the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise you won't be able to flash the patched img.after being full virgin with original boot.img (no root) I would let the system update by itself. Then grab the corresponding original boot.img, magisk it and flash the magisked boot.img following our guide in this thread
Hi Nabril,Thanks cerj
Yes, I did restore the image before attempting the update.
You could use the original/virgin boot.img from the Rollback package, it has LE2125 OP9P :Thanks cerj

1.No, the full update is not available for the op9p. The oxygen updater app only provides the incremental.
2. Would I take the update using settings, update, and let it take the OTA route? Or would I use the local update option within the system settings update app? I think I recall seeing a local update option some time back.
I was stuck on OS 13 and then update kept failing. Flashed stock boot, root was no more but update still failed. Finally I MSM'd back to 11.2.6.6 and have updated all the way with no more updates available. It seems when you root with magisk, it changes something else and makes updating iffy! Just my thoughts. This is hilarious..
The system update app cant find the oos14 update after 4 tries.
I'll keep clicking on "check for updates"
EDIT.. I cleared the cache of the Google services framework app... No update to be found.
I restored the image within Magisk as my first step instead of full uninstall.
Aghhhh

Anyone with an original and patched boot image for the EU version:
LE2123_14.0.0.202(EX01)
?
You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
