Without root keeping "all data" is not possible. Your only option is to backup your internal storage to PC excluding the android folder then copy it back after the upgrade. Without root after upgrading you can't use apps like SwiftBackup to restore. However, I would install and use SwiftBackup while you are rooted to backup current apps and data, call logs and sms messages. In addition export your contacts to internal storage before backing up to PC. Actually backing up to PC would be the last thing you do before updating firmware. In the event you do get root, you will be able to restore everything.Hello awesom xda-users,
I am currently running LE2121_11_C.61 (Oxygen 12) on my OP9 Pro with ROOT/magisk and would like to "upgrade" to OS 13.
1) Which options do I have for that case?
2) Is there an option to keep ROOT?
3) If 2) is not possible, how can I keep/transfer all data and use import it for /to Oxygen 13?
Thanks
Thanks Soft_M for the patched boot image.

I have a problem, on my OPO 9 Pro with firmware LE2123_F74 the Magisk app showed an update, when downloading it closed and was no longer on the device. I downloaded with the Oxygen updater the version LE2123_F75 and installed it with the system updater app. Since Magisk was not on the device I flashed in fastboot mode with flash boot boot_patched_25200_LE2123_F75.img
I own root but the magisk app is gone. Can you or someone from the thread help me get a working Magisk app back on the device. (Magisk 25.2.zip and Magisk 25.2.apk) are in the root directory of my device. Thanks for your help

Don't have any additional app in the app drawer with gear or similar icon. When installing the Magisk app, it is installed and shows the open or quit dialog at the end of the installation. When I select open, the app pops up briefly and exits, this is then also gone in the app drawer. If I quit the installation with quit, I find the app in the drawer, but when I open it, the game starts all over again. Short open and gone from the drawer.Have you checked in the app drawer to see if Magisk hid itself by some unknown burp? Will look like a settings icon... Or have you tried to just installing the magisk.apk?
Seems like a compatibility issue..Don't have any additional app in the app drawer with gear or similar icon. I think so too, imagine there is another source besides the Github one, but not sure.
Not sure maybe someone else will help out....sorryI think so too, imagine there is another source besides the Github one, but not sure.
Can anyone provide download links? I got qualcomm crashdump splash and cant continue. Will try to flash original boot.img
That is, if the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise you won't be able to flash the patched img.after being full virgin with original boot.img (no root) I would let the system update by itself. Then grab the corresponding original boot.img, magisk it and flash the magisked boot.img following our guide in this thread

1.No, the full update is not available for the op9p. The oxygen updater app only provides the incremental.
2. Would I take the update using settings, update, and let it take the OTA route? Or would I use the local update option within the system settings update app? I think I recall seeing a local update option some time back.
Hi Nabril,Thanks cerj
Yes, I did restore the image before attempting the update.
You could use the original/virgin boot.img from the Rollback package, it has LE2125 OP9P :Thanks cerj

You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
Anyone with an original and patched boot image for the EU version:
