thank you
I've done this before with other phones, I'm an IT guy, and I'm computer saavy. ButI cant get that dos prompt to recognize my phone with adb devices.
What the hell am I doing wrong? Or what else can I try? I'm not sure if I have the drivers or not. I don't see anything that stands out in the Windows device manager.
And yes, I'm using the original OP cable, or the one that was shipped with the phone that's read and white.
EDIT - ok, I see the phone in adb devices, but now the fastboot oem unlock command just says "waiting for devices"
Ok. So the steps are listed out of order
1. type adb reboot bootloader
2. type fastboot oem unlock
3. use volume down to select Unlock bootloader
