Thanks, mate.@Sergykm You provided way to less information to help you. If you check my post above your's, you will see that I used the c62 that is currently avaiable. Instead of flashing just boot from that img, you have root and follow the instructions of the first post.
Can you post your c.62 boot.img for le2125 and the pre-patched boot.img with Magisk 25.2, please?Thanks, mate.
It"s working for me, now I'm with root.
Greetings from Ukraine.
How can I do that? Can you post your c.62 boot.img for le2125 and the pre-patched boot.img with Magisk 25.2, please?
Look for partitions backup and restore app in Playstore
ok, now it installed. What next one?
I did boot_a and boot_b backup via this app. I'm on c62 LE2125 with root (magisk).
Hi Steve ! when are you going to upload the Patch Boot.img for the C.62 Global in the first page ? Im just waiting for it in order to root the Op 9 pro C.62 global version. Thanks!!!
Then Once I update to LE2125.11.C.62 ( incremental) , can I use the file that you have Upload ( magisk_patched-25200.img ) in order to root the device following the instructions from the first page ?I can confirm boot_b was le2125 magisk patched c.62
here are the files renamed and put in a zip for less confusion,

Correct, that is how it should work, for some reason i had to factory reset my phone first, couldnt read data folder and booting the patched image would just reboot back to stock. I do not believe that had anything to do with the update though. Then Once I update to LE2125.11.C.62 ( incremental) , can I use the file that you have Upload ( magisk_patched-25200.img ) in order to root the device following the instructions from the first page ?
Thanks very much !!
Why did you have to do a Factory reset to the phone? did go something wrong during the process? Sorry but i did not understood you ver well.Correct, that is how it should work, for some reason i had to factory reset my phone first, couldnt read data folder and booting the patched image would just reboot back to stock. i believe my issue was unrelated but just wanted to put out the warning. i believe it was caused by trying to restore magisk after the update and failing. Why did you have to do a Factory reset to the phone? did go something wrong during the process? Sorry but i did not understood you ver well.
for what I understand the process is very simple and we should lose any kind of data.
Thanks mate!
Thank-you for those. After the standard Magisk upgrade methods failed, I left Magisk uninstalled and upgraded to C.62 using the OnePlus menus. This worked, but left the device unrooted, so then I booted from the patched magisk image here and re-installed Magisk successfully.I can confirm boot_b was le2125 magisk patched c.62

How to update OTA and KEEP ROOT
It is advised to disable or even uninstall all magisk modules to be safe!
How: go to Magisk application/modules/disable &/or uninstall
Option 1: With full OTA Access (BA/DA) :
Step 1 - Get & install the full OTA zip file
1. Go to System-Update or update get the OTA using Oxygen Updater
2. Tap OK when the message that you are rooted appears
3. Tap "Download and install" or local update if OTA from Oxygen Updater
For Android 12, install this APK "OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12.apk": https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664848215
4. Wait until you are prompted to reboot - DO NOT REBOOT NOW!

That's odd, I'm getting a lot better battery life on f-18. I use my phone for work and usually about 8 hours into my 12-hour shift I charge my phone when it gets to 20%Friends, how is yours battery status after upgrade to F.18?
The battery dies in the eyes.
I don't know if it's the fault of FW or maybe the fault of Magisk, which I uninstalled and reinstalled - between the update from F.17 to F.18 I didn't do anything else with the system or applications.

You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
My method:This seems way too easy. After reading several attempts and resulting soft bricks and whatnot, you're saying:
Uninstall magisk (or just the app?)
(Won't this leave you unrooted and unable to install magisk alpha?)
Install magisk alpha
Reboot
Local update to a12
Don't reboot
Install magisk (alpha) to inactive slot after ota
Reboot
I'm holding off on a12 until a kernal or two are available, bugs are worked out, and a crystal clear update method.
