@Sergykm You provided way to less information to help you. If you check my post above your's, you will see that I used the c62 that is currently avaiable. Instead of flashing just boot from that img, you have root and follow the instructions of the first post.

Correct, that is how it should work, for some reason i had to factory reset my phone first, couldnt read data folder and booting the patched image would just reboot back to stock. I do not believe that had anything to do with the update though.

Why did you have to do a Factory reset to the phone? did go something wrong during the process? Sorry but i did not understood you ver well.
for what I understand the process is very simple and we should lose any kind of data.

i believe my issue was unrelated but just wanted to put out the warning. i believe it was caused by trying to restore magisk after the update and failing.
When i tried to boot the magisk-patched.img it would automatically reboot back to stock, and i was having a few other issues, i did a factory reset and everything worked like normal.

Thank-you for those. After the standard Magisk upgrade methods failed, I left Magisk uninstalled and upgraded to C.62 using the OnePlus menus. This worked, but left the device unrooted, so then I booted from the patched magisk image here and re-installed Magisk successfully.
