Thanks for the stepsAgain updated with no problem at all.
Downloaded incremental LE2125_11_C.65.zip update with oxygen updater...
In magisk 25.2 tap restore images.
installed with OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12.apk application ..
which it all works just fine because my phone is considered not rooted since I restored images..
once update displays 100% and to reboot don't reboot yet.
you need to go to magisk again install to inactive slot then you can reboot and done..
OnePlus 9 pro LE2125
Uninstall magisk.Thanks for the steps
But I don't see "restore images" in magisk 25. 2. Where is that and why is it needed? I ask to learn.
Thank you. Yes, I re-read the Op, and saw the appropriate instructions.
Can I use it for rooting 2125 c.65?
This isn't magisk patched.
Well I can patch it by myself. But I need stock boot.img 2125-c.65 for that
Up. Me tooWell I can patch it by myself. But I need stock boot.img 2125-c.65 for that

Thanx, man! All done!
Wrong version of patched image would be my guessI installed c65 and for some reason i couldn't install Magisk to an inactive slot, the phone straigt rebooted. No when i try to reboot with the patched boot.img i don't have the option to directly install.. i can only select a File to Patch.
Thanks for the patch.Thanx, man! All done!
If somebody needs magisk patched 2125 c.65 boot.img - here it is
yes of course! When I get home from work I will continue searching haha. I also found someone who experienced exactly the same as me but solutions mentioned in that thread didnt work for me
Why take shortcuts, that could cause unforeseen issues that no one has encountered. Flash the OTA, boot into system and let it settle out. Then go back and install magisk. Play it safe to prevent crashes...... my thoughts. Patience is the virtue to success!unfortunately the thread search is broken, so that I ask:
is it also possible to flash a full OTA zip with twrp, then reflash magisk without rebooting and everything is done?
or have there more steps to success?
if this is a possible way: could this added to the guide at start-posts?

You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
My method:This seems way too easy. After reading several attempts and resulting soft bricks and whatnot, you're saying:
Uninstall magisk (or just the app?)
(Won't this leave you unrooted and unable to install magisk alpha?)
Install magisk alpha
Reboot
Local update to a12
Don't reboot
Install magisk (alpha) to inactive slot after ota
Reboot
I'm holding off on a12 until a kernal or two are available, bugs are worked out, and a crystal clear update method.
