I am using rooted OP 9P (indian) on f.17. I've downloaded incremental update for f.18 but I am unable to update my phone via setting's local update.

I've read the steps from the 1st post and followed them.

When the local update starts, it extracts the zip file till around 35% and then shows extraction failed.

I also tried: Open magisk - uninstall magisk - restore images
But a toast appears saying "stock backup does not exist".

I need an image of the international version (NA) for FW version F.17 OP9Pro.

Are the files any good? Is something corrupted - after installing Root into an inactive slot and rebooting the phone, I got the message
"qualcomm crashdump mode....."

I need to stop messing around with my phone at work. I can't focus - not installing in inactive slot vs current slot. My mistake. Everything works as it should.

Hi! I cannot boot to the patched magisk_boot? I have unlocked bootloader, all the drivers and ADB tools installed, but windows powershell tells me:

PS C:\Minimal ADB and Fastboot> fastboot boot magisk.img
downloading 'boot.img'...

FAILED (remote: Unrecognized command boot)

Please help, im using the latest android 13 F73.

EDIT: Earlier I was on F17, then updated via OTA to the F73 and lost root. And now I cant get root access because of this "remote: unrecognized command boot"

EDIT: nvm .. sometimes I feel so stupid .. and this moment was one of them .. in windows terminal, DON'T use command "reboot fastboot", it boots you to fastbootd and from there you cannot boot magisked images .. instead power off device -> volume up+down and powerbutton same time boots you to fastboot.

is it also possible to flash a full OTA zip with twrp, then reflash magisk without rebooting and everything is done?
or have there more steps to success?

if this is a possible way: could this added to the guide at start-posts?

I have a OnePlus pro le2125.
I updated from f-17 to f18 using the incremental from the oxygen updater..
super easy super fast I didn't disable anything I just downloaded the file went into magisk restored images installed the OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12.apk . Opened the app hit the cog wheel up the top right corner. It found the incremental I hit install, it took about 2 minutes after that I didn't reboot I first went into magisk and installed it to the inactive slot. I then reboot my phone and good to go... incredibly easy.

Trying to root LE2125, updated to latest update F.18 (LE2125_11-F.18), Using F.18 patched boot image linked.

- Unlocked the bootloader
- Can find the device on Fastboot,

3. Code once in fastboot mode:
"fastboot boot magisk_boot.img" (use the "magisk_boot.img" from the above zip file)
Change to the exact name "magisk_boot.img" of the boot that has been patched in the above zip file
"fastboot reboot"

When I send magisk_boot.img and try to boot into fastboot, the screen shows fastboot mode but doesn't go ahead. So after waiting I fastboot reboot. Install magisk apk. When I try installing Magisk, it asks me patch image. Should I choose this image to patch?
If not, what am I doing wrong? I have attached screenshots in case I am not using correct terminology.

After booting using Magisk boot, installed Magisk and rebooted (skipped fastboot reboot step)

Why take shortcuts, that could cause unforeseen issues that no one has encountered. Flash the OTA, boot into system and let it settle out. Then go back and install magisk. Play it safe to prevent crashes...... my thoughts. Patience is the virtue to success!
