Cool, what a thoughtful and useful reply. Clearly it is out and available based on the thread or I wouldn't have asked.

I never said or implied anyone was keeping it from me. Not everyone who updates keeps a copy of the file and uploads it to their computer.True.
We all have it. We're just keeping it from you...
When Steve0007 has it, he will post it...
Like he has been doing for all the previous versions. What makes you think he will stop now?
Have a little patience, or go and fetch it yourself and patch it.
So to root it i use patched boot img? Here are download links for the (AA Model) F.20 update file, untouched boot.img, patched boot.img since my phone got the update. @Steve0007
Update File
Stock boot.img
Patched boot.img
Is there any chance to recover widevine L1 after OTA updating? Lost it when root F73, not a big deal but would be good to recover.
Also, safetynet will work as usual? Want to keep using gpay too.
I need a file like on first post just for f20 is this untouched? You can either temporarily boot off the stock image and patch your existing one, or directly flash the patched one. It will depend on your use case, you would use my files in conjunction with the OP instructions.

My OTA update failed, and it finally installed full, so I had to root again, anyway everything working perfect! Can upload F74 Boot.img if need, or you can wait for trusted users![]()

Keep Root and OTA updates
How to update OTA and KEEP ROOT
It is advised to disable or even uninstall all magisk modules to be safe!
How: go to Magisk application/modules/disable &/or uninstall
Option 1: With full OTA Access (BA/DA) :
Step 1 - Get & install the full OTA zip file
1. Go to System-Update or update get the OTA using Oxygen Updater
2. Tap OK when the message that you are rooted appears
3. Tap "Download and install" or local update if OTA from Oxygen Updater
For Android 12, install this APK "OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12.apk": https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=7161016148664848215
4. Wait until you are prompted to reboot - DO NOT REBOOT NOW!

5. Open Magisk Application
a. Select the Install option.
b. Use Install to inactive slot

Full OTA F74 LE2123I don't know how to provide OTA link, I just downloaded from oxygen updater, if anyone knows please paste link here!
I updated successfully in less than 5 minutes.
-Downloaded the incremental F21 for my LE2125 OP9 pro device using oxygen updater..
-Hit restore images in magisk 25.2.
-flash the stock boot image from F20 in EKM. (Since that's the current version I'm on at the moment)
- Using the system update application for Android 12 I installed the incremental update (Don't reboot)
- Go to magisk and install to inactive slot, reboot and you're good to go..
If you had twrp and you want to get it back just flash it in magisk and then do a magisk direct install, reboot and you're good to go with twrp as well.
Can anyone provide download links? I got qualcomm crashdump splash and cant continue. Will try to flash original boot.img
Use the following apk to update your OTA package. This one does not reboot after update and as such you can use magisk option after OTA updates to keep rootA local EU update causes a restart. There was no problem with OTA. And the root disappeared, but I can already see that there are fools. Thanks Steve00007

You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
My method:This seems way too easy. After reading several attempts and resulting soft bricks and whatnot, you're saying:
Uninstall magisk (or just the app?)
(Won't this leave you unrooted and unable to install magisk alpha?)
Install magisk alpha
Reboot
Local update to a12
Don't reboot
Install magisk (alpha) to inactive slot after ota
Reboot
I'm holding off on a12 until a kernal or two are available, bugs are worked out, and a crystal clear update method.
