i love bro
Hi,
We don't want to flash the magisk boot but rather boot it just to gain temporary root. Then using magisk applications for direct magisk patch boot. Read our first post, everything is there!Hi,
to flash the patched image - is this really the right command "fastboot boot..."?
Is rather "fastboot flash ... " the right one?
Yes, it shows the "orange status" messageNew boot warning after upgrading F72 Eur. Now appears security warning, device unlocked. Anyone can confirm this? Thanks
Couldn't do that. "System update installation failed" when trying to flash F72 coming from F16. Doesn't even work after uninstalling Magisk. Why are so many make this so difficult?
I download update via Oxygen updater, install via system updater, skip reboot, open Magisk and install into inactive slot.
(All modules in Magisk are enabled)
No need for fastboot anything, if you do it right.
Use the system updater, it is a separate APP. If you update via settings it won't work.Couldn't do that. "System update installation failed" when trying to flash F72 coming from F16. Doesn't even work after uninstalling Magisk.
That was with the System Updater appUse the system updater, it is a separate APP. If you update via settings it won't work.
Worked great when I upgraded my device from C66 to F72.Couldn't do that. "System update installation failed" when trying to flash F72 coming from F16. Doesn't even work after uninstalling Magisk.
Use the full OTA package (not the incremental one)Couldn't do that. "System update installation failed" when trying to flash F72 coming from F16. Doesn't even work after uninstalling Magisk.
That's the weird thing, I'm using the full zip and can't flash it.
I have removed the attachment from your post since it contains words unsuitable for this forum. Please check Rule 2:Ugh, Im having issues with my new 9 pro, I am getting
FAILED (remote: 'Please flash unlock token first.')
when I try to fastboot oem unlock
It is a LE2125 so how am I getting this? I enabled developer settings, enabled OEM unlocking, and turned usb debugging on. It sees the device when I fastboot devices.
Mod Edit: Attachment removed.

Can anyone provide download links? I got qualcomm crashdump splash and cant continue. Will try to flash original boot.img
Use the following apk to update your OTA package. This one does not reboot after update and as such you can use magisk option after OTA updates to keep rootA local EU update causes a restart. There was no problem with OTA. And the root disappeared, but I can already see that there are fools. Thanks Steve00007

You can download the EU stock boot.img that's in this thread (2nd post), download the latest magisk canary manager and patch that boot.img. Then you can temporarily gain root by rebooting to bootloader and booting that image ex. "fastboot boot boot.img"( your boot.img name will vary after patching). After the phone boots you can just go into magisk manager and do a "direct install" and that will patch your global boot.img to gain permanent root.
My method:This seems way too easy. After reading several attempts and resulting soft bricks and whatnot, you're saying:
Uninstall magisk (or just the app?)
(Won't this leave you unrooted and unable to install magisk alpha?)
Install magisk alpha
Reboot
Local update to a12
Don't reboot
Install magisk (alpha) to inactive slot after ota
Reboot
I'm holding off on a12 until a kernal or two are available, bugs are worked out, and a crystal clear update method.
