1- please only use English...it's a forum rule.
2- the point is to either v4a work on enforcing on OOS Oreo or set it to permissive but pass saftynet (which this guide does)..
the file you shared installs V4A, but you have to be Permissive, and you don't pass safety net if you did.

latest version v2.8 works without issue on OP3 latest beta...what version of v4a do you have and what setup and method you use? do you have busybox installed correct;y?
i'd suggest remove the module (and any related modules ) and install v2.8 and see... if you still get the same issues use method 2 on 1st post starting from point 2a, it should work .

Hello all ,

a lot are asking and searching for a way to make V4A work on OOS Oreo, sadly so far most posible ways either require a lot work or setting Linux to permissive wich breaks saftynet.
the bad news is this method also Sets SELinun to Permissive but it's simulated through Magisk so it doesn't break SafetyNet...

Method:
1- download and install busybox (make sure it's installed) i personally use a pro version, some of the ones on playstore wont install so try until you find a working one.
2- Update , using the latest V4A 2.5+ version by ahrion you don't need to use Magisk SELinux Permissive Scrip because he added to his module a detection script that will detect OOS Oreo and set permissive automatically
Download and flash LatestViPER4Android FX 2.5.0.5 [Unity/AML] by @ahrion
3-reboot and have fun
if the above doesn't work
2a- download and install Magisk SELinux Permissive Script module v1.1 (all thanks to @Jman420 ) and reboot.
3a- download ViPER4Android FX 2.3.4.0 (Super High Quality) v2.1
4a- install V4A module downloaded in the past step then reboot.
5a- now V4A should be perfectly working...and It Passes SafetyNet

I charged it up, turn it on, and now v4a doesn't work, it keeps asking me to install/update the driver :/ can you help me? What can I do?

check if busybox is still installed correctly... if it's it might be that you selinux is set to enforcing , so install the permissive module in the 1st post and see, if not working still, remove v4a and any related module (including audlib), then reboot and then download v4a 2.9 again from the module thread and flash it alone but install the 2.5.0.5 version this time with the classic theme not the modern one...
if still doesn't work or you want 2.3.4.0 remove the module again and restart, and follow the steps from 2a (the alternative method) it should work no matter what.

sorry this is OP3 forums, and i don't have your device so although you have a custom rom i wouldn't know how to help...
that said, there are 2 methods, which one didn't work? both?
your best option is to try tViPER4Android FX 2.5.0.5 [Unity/AML] by @ahrion from 1st post...
if that doenst work, try the alternative method from point 2a, now maybe in your device v4a works in enforcing not permissive so you should try with and without the permissive module...
also if you ask in the V4A module thread you'd get more help, cause it's open to all devices and someone with your device might easily have a solution.

flashed busybox module in magisk, flashed viper 2.9 zip in magisk, selinux is permissive. running nitrogen os 8.1 on op3t.
even after above things, it's giving a message that "installation failed due to an I/O error. Try reboot and try again".
What did I do wrong?

stumbled across this thread cross searching. Doesn't installing BusyBox via that JRummy write to the system partition? Won't that break an untouched partition? Would it be better to install a BusyBox module from the Magisk repository? I don't want to alter my system partition if at all possible.

For those that are facing issues make sure you extract the customise_prop file from the viper4arise.zip and setup to your liking by enabling true on the files you want installed and also make sure you extract it to your main internal storage (in no folders)...

F*cked my oneplus 3s 5.0.1 firmware after i tried to install the "new" version or viper4android. What happened was when i installed it and phone rebooted i tried to launch it it crashed and **** pooped up saying it crashed and close the application. That prompt wont go away when i click close application it pops up 2 sec later. And phone restarted on it's own before it did it said factory reset even though i didn't do it. Now when it booted back i cant use home button multitask button (i can use it as fingerprint scanner) but cant use it to back out of it. Now im downloading 5.0.1 again and im gonna try to install it from system updates local upgrade. Cause i lost root i thought uninstalling magisk would fix it :/ now magisk and twrp both are gone. Anyways sorry for messy reply im just not in right state of mind

sorry to hear that....
for future issues with any magisk module, download a zip called Magisk Mount (attached)... flash it in twrp, it will mount the magisk img, immediately after flashing access the mounted image from twrp file manager, and delete the folder of the module that's causing an issue, then reboot... never failed me.

i suspect the issue you had is a compatibility issue with something else, i have the latest official v4a by ahrion working fine on OOS latest beta, but, there might be a difference between latest beta and 5.0.1 stable.

I meant the option that comes after you select 2.0.5.0 or whatever the version is. Its something like Do you wanna install new skin or old. Old worked for me last time, this time i wanted to try the new option. well i payed for my curiosity.

Wth even after the upgrade its still the same. Do i have to flash twrp and perform clean flash or something :/..

I can only get it to work with Spotify. If I try it with PocketCasts or audible "processing" stays at "no" even though audio format says "supported". I was hoping this would just process any kind of audio.
Also, switching back to Spotify after playing podcasts won't turn processing back on. So far only stopping and killing all audio apps and then restarting spotify brings back processing.
