They only show me "not found" i dont know what to tipe i'm confused

Sent from my Huawei P10 using XDA Labs
Who shows you "not found"? You need an app like Termux. There you have to type the command ls /proc/fs/ and press enter.
The output shows you what memory type your phone has.

hello i'd used your tuto 2 as well.

version is now L29B432B369 after two OTA update (i use B360 Files with tuto 2).

i'd used 3.2.1-O V3 from maybe 20days

I have two questions:

fisrt: does the recovery a stock recovery in my situation and after ota?
i really want to do good work and have stock recovery but all is well ..just for security and best work.

**can i take the recovery_ramdis from update.app ???

second thing:

in parameters/confidentialy and security/ app with system access
it is an app list and the settings are not worked.
i can on/off but just the button change.

when i go to parameters/application/ one by one and same as the listed in confidentiality, they aren't changed.

is this a rom stock bug or other?

reset factory already done so many time with software and hardware.

all rest is very nice. as a new device.

thanks
Sorry, but I don't understand your post.
- Do you want to flash the stock recovery from update.app? Yes, this is possible. Just extract the recovery_ramdis.img and flash it with "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk PATH\TO\FILE".
- Which menu do you mean? Can you post some screenshots, please? If there's something missing then it can only caused by the firmware itself, not by the update process. If a factory reset didn't help then I really can't help you. Such problems are firmware related. The only thing you could try is to way for another firmware or download another version of your firmware (there are some differences in size as you can see in Firmware Finder list by TeamMT - choose another FullOTA B369 if there's one).

@absynteZero If you relocked everything OTA should work. Does the bootloader say "Bootloader locked" or "Bootloader relocked"? This is important, it must be "locked" for OTA. You can reach this by complete factory reset only.

+ + + NEWS + + +
I'm back on stock, because the treble rom had a huge battery drain for me.
To get back to stock, I just installed B370, which is new, with oreoupdate script and did a factory reset in recovery (not TWRP).
Everything works fine, I'm back on Oreo 8.0 again - the only thing I'm missing is the AVRCP version setting from 8.1, which is important for bluetooth streaming.

only possibility to lock bootloader is to go back to nougat (with proper rollback firmware), lock bootloader, let OTA update do it or use FF.
I think when you have bootloader relocked it still shows unlocked when entering fastboot oem lock-state info or fastboot oem get-bootinfo.
I got no OTA (i am relocked) but maybe just coincidence, because i can't wait and make always manual update via FF.

Unlocked bootloader dosent mean anything. If you have stock recovery you can OTA update your phone withouth any problem.
I succesfully update my phone two times on Nouget using OTA update wich Xposed and Magisk on phone. Phone still unlocked bootloader but you need STOCK recovery!
I update my phone from 179 to 180 and previous version of rom. Also i update once from180 to 360 using stock recovery again - no Xposed, Magisk...just unlocked bootloader and bootloader still unlocked.
If you want you can relock your bootloader again but if you ask me, this feature dosent mean anything... (this is only my exp) :good:

Install a stock recovery which you can extract von update.app and do the factory reset inside this - I'm not 100% sure if this will work.
You need to flash recovery_ramdisk and erecovery_ramdis(k).
I made a script for you, which you can flash in TWRP: Download.
You need to put the zip and both recovery files from update.app (recovery and erecovery) into SD card root. Then install the zip via TWRP, the phone reboots automatically into freshly installed recovery after flash.
For TWRP you need to unlock your bootloader again, but after factory reset with stock recovery it should be locked.

- Download this rar archive - version 040518, MD5 c4c7b33d104b696a6132f8be1f36ba0b
- Extract the archive on your sd card - you should have a folder named "oreoupdate" on it. This folder contains three files: oreoupdate.zip, VTR_RECOVERY_OREO_NoCheck.img.
- Put the three update zips you downloaded before inside the "oreoupdate" folder on sd card.
- Your SD card has to look like this:
Please change it to two

EDIT:
Also i have this dumb question, which firm is better for oreoUPDATE method, FullOTA-MF or OTA-MF ?

EDIT:
I went in bootloop this morning after updating to *371 version, which ended in factory reset.
I've just tried again and everything went fine.
Now i'm curios might have existing root (supersu) messed things up?

This is second time i went in bootloop. This time updating from *371 to *374 and did full unroot.
What can i do to exit from bootloop without factory reset?

when you root your device you need to patch the kernel, so when you unroot, you have to flash back the unpatched kernel.
So now you have to make FR i think.

Ok but i'm not sure that the root is the problem in the first place?

The process went fine from Nougat to Oreo (370) also from 370 to 371
I don´t know i don´t root my phone since some months because i have no need to root it. For me the time you have to have root to be able to change something on your system is gone.

How do you change something in /system without root?
why you have to change something in the system? I have no need to do that anymore. When i would have the need I know how to patch kernel, flash magisk and get root with magisk hide to be able to use Android Pay. And tro get OTA updtae, you have to do the steps reverse way and only then you can flash update (but i always flash full image, and make backup before).

Well for example... i'd prefer to lock device with icon. This way i don't care what device is and where is the frickin' power button. It's more convenient for me. Nova launcher has 3 ways to do it. Turn off the screen, Device admin, Root. First it isn't a lock, just work around, you have to w8 30 seconds in my case for autolock. Second locks the device but after that you can't unlock it with fingerprint, you have to type the password. Third works flawless, locks immediately, unlock with finger print. Also i'm using it as a work phone. My work is dynamic with a lots of calls. Often i don't have where to write down things, so im recording the calls. The app i use need root for this. This is the main reasons, all others aren't important^^

lock icon is stock in huawei oreo.
there are laws, that don't allow you to record calls, that's why its not on european phones (but is present in east country versions of huawei, xiaomi etc). But as I said i don't need it, you do (for reason i don't understand how efficient it is to have a call and then spend time to play the records again to write the notes... its double the time instead you can buy a note book and save a lot of time). anyway your choice.

As i said im in the move almost all the time. This is easiest way to remember important stuff.

P.S. Huawei lock works with default launcher only.

For me the main reasons to root are AdAway and modifications in apps, like image quality in WhatsApp.
The other reason is that I buyed something and want full access.

When I buy a house I want access to the switchbox and the heating system without paying for the key.

My scripts aren't affected by root. The only issue is that the root will be gone after update.

Did you choose the correct firmware version for your model and also FullOTA(-PV)? Some firmware files aren't working properly, I don't know why. Use other files from TeamMT, you can see differences in the file sizes even with the same version.

Well...it's not PV, but if i understand correctly, PV means point version and is used when upgrading major version (e.g. from 7 to 8).
Do you think this could be the problem? I've updated from 7 to 8 (*360 or *365) using PV, then updated to *369 with MF only without issues.
If this is the problem why after the bootloop and FR i updated it again, using the same firm files? It went fine both times after the FR.
