It's great to have this, but the big problem is... for that it need a unlock phone (bootloader and root)
Today there is no solution to have that, the last vendor (ministrysolution, funky huwaei and global solution) closed the business of bootloader code. So co code, no bootloader open an no root, and no communitie...

So I'm on an Optus LYA-L09 @ 122.

Can I apply the (SafetyNet approved) 183 update linked here to my phone using a FH credit as I don't have root? ie, with the FH tool/method can you specify a local zip file (as FH don't have 183) for install or do you HAVE to use the web selection method? If not, does RedLotus work?

Can someone suggest me where to purchase an unlock code from? Funky huwaei aren't doing it anymore. Says service unavailable at the moment.

I'm really tired as they refused my order a day later and said that it's not possible anymore to get codes. I see their website also doesn't have an option anymore.

Keep us updated....

Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
I've had an order in with them for 3 weeks now.... See the front page saying... "WE ARE TESTING THE HUAWEI BOOTLOADER CODES NOW: AFTER TEST RESULTS ORDERS WILL BE PROCEED"

I've asked them a couple of times and they still say that they will only send out the payment details once they know codes are available.

my device is (C69), I updated by FunkyHuawei to the version .171 (C432E10) did not rebrand, the firmware I installed FunkyHuawei was (LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.171), so now I want to install the firmware (LYA- LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.183) available in this post, I made the folder HuaweiSystem and then in settings look for updates and I do not skip anything, is it possible to update my device in this way?

Or is there a way to force the update of those firmwares through the HiSuite that FunkyHuawei provides?

Thanks @OldDroid
Came from .182 and flashed the latest .188 with your app
Worked well for me , but I had to factory reset ( with the custom recovery ) at the end to make it boot .
Cheers
Yeah I think that's what happened with mine. It would only boot up with the patched recovery_ramdisk.img and not with a regular boot.
But I remember there were a few apps that seemed to have issues for some reason and I ended up screwing up everything by trying to do a factory reset in settings and then another in eRecovery.
Caused a soft brick. I ended up recovering the phone via FH method to 187.

But I noticed the FH firmware was different to my local one, so I ended up doing a firmware downgrade via eRecovery, which took me back to 168 (but with my local AUS firmware)
And a couple of days ago, it got an OTA update to 183. Which is where I currently am and staying, as it passes safetynet and Google Pay is working great.

How did you do the downgrade via erecovery, what are the steps?
1. Go into eRecovery. (plug phone cable into charger or whatever, reboot and hold volume up until the eRecovery screen comes up)
2. Select Download latest version and recovery, then Download and recovery

However I've found that eRecovery often doesn't work for me. Ends up giving me a failed error when it says "Getting package info from server". Maybe being rooted or having a patched recovery_ramdisk.img has something to do with it.

Also, when I say "downgrade", just to be clear, it will only install the latest firmware that your Country or Carrier is releasing. I was on the stock 187 firmware by FH, when I ran the eRecovery, it downloaded the 168 firmware and restored to that.

Do you know any way to update the firmwares of this post manually? No bootloader unlocked? I have installed the .171 (C432) of FH
