how do you use HiSuite to do a full factory restore? There was no option for me to do so. When i clicked system recovery, it tells me that my phone is fine.

May be boot into bootloader and connect USB? Or you can go to eRecovery and use download latest option.

U need a bootloader unlock code, which huawei stopped providing. There was a time you could bought it from some sellers like funkyhuawei but for a lots of money... Was like 50$ in the end...


Now it's nearly impossible unlike you find one that can generate one...

If he can give you the bootloader unlock code it should work yes... I cant try it cause i havent an unlocked bootloader
This is one of the reasons my next device wont be a huawei.... Its a nice device, fast and reliable but software and update support are bad...

You can but you must to pay for it.
Use dc unlocker then you can get unlock bootloader key.

Look in support of that device in that tool maybe is also able.
