yep, its not optimal... but heres to hoping that huawei will reverse course and provide BL unlocking again sometime in the future. for now, ADB is your friend and trying to squeeze as much as possible out of EMUI and the stock huawei launcher haha.

Its just the ability to unlock bootloader. Yes you can unlock this with display password. After that you need boot loader unlock code to unlock bootloader. google for more.

And I will ask. I have AL00, currently on android 9 0.120 with unlock bootloader and root. Is it possible to install the latest adroid 10, the original huawei, and then install root? Does anyone even have EMUI10 root? Thank you in advance for your answer.

go ahead and try and let us know how it goes if it doesnt work u can still go back to emui 9 via hisuite

I too am on emui 9.1 but afraid to go to emui 10 because I do not want to lose root & Bootloader unlock.
