With root, I changed the build.prop under System/Vendor and even Vendor with ro.sf.lcd_density=300 to no effect. Anyone successfully and permanently change their resolution?

Add this line:

qemu.sf.lcd_density=300 to both then reboot. I'm pretty sure you only need to add it to the vendor/build.prop though.

I'm assuming you meant qemu.sf.lcd_density=300 and not qemu.sf.lcd_density_300?

Didn't work either way.

Yeah, typo. It could be in another prop somewhere like product or version.

This worked! Should be pinned up as there is a lot of misdirection with all the dpi values in the multiple build.prop files in the phone directories.

2) Also, are you guys able to prevent the Assist app being reverted back to Huawei's voice app (even after setting Google Assistant as the default)?
3) Any reason (disregard extra cost) NOT to get the 8GB version?

On my China phone with the root applied, titanium backup does work after a few tries but with warnings of not full root and busy box installed. Manually removing Huawei voice app for Google assistant in the guide works great. No point of 8gb version. Spend the extra money on expanded memory.

On my one plus 6t and lgv30 I'm able to say "ok Google" and it will wake up the phone and unlock screen

I have installed interesting software for Windows from Team MT devs. (firmware finder) called multi tool for huawei..
And there they provided unlock key for free.. But I purchased two months ago for mine Note10..
But looks like this software provides for free..
You can do many things with this tool.. I been using all in one tool from xda smaller one.. But this is even better one..

Not really, it stays as default with a lots of restart. But it has an annoying notification.

Ohh yea. You can disable the security alert in setting - app - show system process- phone manager - security alert

I downloaded the app, but I dont see how the unlock code is free as it give you two options dc locker or hcu client, and I know dc unlocker isnt free. So I'm curious how you got the boot unlocker for free.

Go to bootloader (boot phone in fastboot mode) on phone.. check picture again click on bootloader tab and on right side says ''your unlock key''
I was surprised.. but I don't need that code as I purchased 3 months ago.. But I want to test that code if it's really working..

Just tried that code and it doesn't work .. so don't know why that code was there ...

Yeah I just checked since I just got the chance to look, that's a "example code", not an unlock code. Really need to test these things before posting what you see, especially things like this.
