How did you check that is real UFS2.1 ?

No, no is ufs2.1 This does not exist, that advertising is an international deception!

Got around to rooting and testing my Mate 9 MHA-Al00 6/128GB tonight. Ended up with a Toshiba THGBF7T0L8LBATAC - UFS 2.0 as well. Read speeds around a lousy 333 MB/s and write speeds around 160 MB/s I must be doing something wrong.

ddr_info is 0x606 and ddr_rod is lpddr4

Complain today in Consumption against the operator Vodafone as seller of a Huawei Mate 9 that does not meet the advertised specifications.

You could also check your UFS Memory with a simple app from Play store. It's UFS Check for Samsung. In my black MATE 9 it's Toshiba Model: THGBF7G9L4LBATRC Rev: 0300 which is UFS v.2.0. The storage is very fast for my idea but yeah, it isn't UFS v.2.1 .

I'm totaly confused regarding the memory. Can somebody explain it?
I can read from my phone that it has TOSHIBA THGBF7G9L4LBATRC.
According to Toshiba's catalog it is UFS 2.0 64GB (in fact it is THGBF7G9L4LBATR), but my phone has 128GB.
Also according to Toshiba UFS2.0 and 2.1 have the same Max Data Rate: 1166 MB/s.
Why is 2.0 considered slower than 2.1? But in my case AndroBench measure ~560MB/s what is so far from Max Data Rate.

    . Hello everyone.
    I wanted to give you the news in Spain and it is that a colleague of htc mania has gone on his terminal to the official SAT of huawei in Madrid and after checking that his memory was UFS2.0
    Have replaced the terminal with a new one with UFS2.1

    It was within the initial 3 months of warranty, but they have not put any problem and have recognized the error.

    So, is it already evidence that we were cheated and that Mate 9 exists with UFS 2.0? That's why they erased that specification from their website.
