Again, great work on this all! This is a big slab in the paving the way for the OP3.
Hey. I remember you. I think we did talk in OP2 times, right ? Good.Hello, I didn't follow your guide as I am "only" soft-bricked. I mean, I got a bootloop after flashing xposed, and the uninstaller did not the job.
Well, I tried to restore my first Nandroid backup, but here again, I'm stuck on the Oneplus logo...
So I came here, and downloaded your rom "OnePlus3Oxygen_16_OTA_008_all_1606122244_e0cfc5ffc8bf411a.zip". But when I've flashed it, and wanted to reboot into system, TWRP told me "no OS installed"!! I tried twice, re-downloaded, always the same... Do you have a functionning stock rom please @Naman Bhalla?
Try to clean flash full stock rom 3.1.2 from downloads.oneplus.net . If it doesn't work, method 2.Flashed H2OS and it gave me nothing but bootloops. So I wiped everything except internal storage (of course) and restored the stock rom. But now I am stuck in the boot logo. Recovery and fastboot are still accessible though. So should I go with the method 2?
That failed is not any issue. It is just because I haven't edited md5 file of deleted system files. Nothing wrong from there. Try the method again and then try method 2.Hi, i've got bricked OnePlus3 and this guide helps
but now i've got a bootloop
error:
dynamic_nvbk.bin: OK
emmc_appsboot.mbn: OK
gpt_backup0.bin: OK
gpt_main0.bin: OK
userdata.img: FAILED open or read
rawprogram0.xml: FAILED

static_nvbk.bin: OK
tz.mbn: OK
boot.img: FAILED open or read
cache.img: FAILED open or read
persist.img: OK
recovery.img: OK

anyone can help me on this? thanks!
i can access fastboot
i can't access recovery
i've tried flashing twrp recovery but it will not boot to recovery
----
I think i need to just flash boot.img, userdata.img, system.img and cache.img anyone knows where to download them? Thanks!
oh I see, method 2 is full rom flash via msmdownload tool. That failed is not any issue. It is just because I haven't edited md5 file of deleted system files. Nothing wrong from there. Try the method again and then try method 2.

Well I think you must remember me because we talked in OP1 times!Hey. I remember you. I think we did talk in OP2 times, right ? Good.
Actually this issue has come to my notice a lot times through many people. Can't say why it is because it isn't for everyone. So, I will have to test. You can use Method 2 with trick to avoid wiping data.

Or just delete the files mentioned in unlock bootloader guide to remove lock.I was on stock rooted Oos...then decided to try a custom rom.Didn't like it,so from recovery I restored my backup...won't accept my pin.tried this tool but method 1 was unsuccesfull ,then followed method 2 and the phone booted up,but my pin still won't accepted...it looks like I need to do a full wipe using method 2.hopefully works...
@néonaloj maybe this experience with method 2 can help youI think I've soft bricked my OP3...
I had systemless root, which was working fine, but after installing a new xposed module and rebooting, got stuck on the spinning red boot logo. I can get into recovery / TWPR, and have tried restoring my backup image, but now stuck on Oneplus/ android text logo.
Suggestions?
I will be having an OP3 in hands within 36 hrs. Then only I can tell. Probably it is related to forced encryption on OxygenOS. Can you try flashing the ROM and then ElementalX kernel and then reboot?@Naman Bhalla But what if my device is well recognized as Oneplus3? Should I install the drivers to make it a Qualcomm device?
I don't understand why it's only with OOS roms and backup that this happens, custom roms work fine.. Thanks!!

Which TWRP versions have you tried? Grarak's version is the only version I could get to work. Thanks for your reply,
As I said here, because I'm stuck on the Oneplus logo, I've tried a custom kernel, that was ElementalX, no success... (still Oneplus logo)
I've décrypted the phone using the command "fastboot format userdata", and that because I was asked to put a password after having unlocked the bootloader.
That's for the informations. Thanks for your help, much appreciated!
As said I tried with both TWRP available, what I can't understand is that I've no problem with all custom roms, only with OOS related roms or backup...
When I try to flash official Oxygen Os 3.1.2, the flash itself goes well, saying "succesfully" done. But when I want to reboot, it says "no OS installed". See screens.
I really don't understand...
I first installed @Grarak 's TWRP, then switched on @dianlujitao 's one (and I'm now still on this one). Same results..Which TWRP versions have you tried? Grarak's version is the only version I could get to work.
