Please can someone share a working msm recovery for GM1910: China. I have tried 4 to 5 times now with the link at the start of this thread and every time the zip fails checksum, the zip is corrupt for me every time :(
My beloved oneplus 7 pro is now bricked and the international msm tool does not work but I know that my phone is the Chinese version so that would be my problem.
Thanks and regards,
Fred

Are you opening that ZIP with WinRAR?

I used winzip on windows 10 and I also used the software on linux. On linux the archive would extract but stall and fail to finish, when I checked the archive it reported that it is corrupt. On windows the archive fails during extraction using winzip and it reports that the archive is corrupt.

Update: The archive extracted without errors and the integrity check was successful.
Thanks and sorry for the trouble, I had downloaded that 3Gb file more than 5 times and I was getting worried.

When I reboot into edl mode, it recognizes the "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008", but then 10 seconds later, the phone automatically boots the the battery display, which disables edl. The same this happens whether I use the vol up+down and plug in, or `adb reboot edl`.

Edit: "How I learned to stop worrying and risk a brick"
Selecting the right COM and hitting start in MSMtool in that 10 second window kept it in edl mode for the duration of the flash.

Good afternoon, I need help. My phone Oneplus 7pro 12/256 GM1917. after updating to 11.0.4.1, it froze and stopped responding to any manipulations. I waited for the battery to run out. Then I charged the battery and turned on the phone. After that, the phone gives an error (Attention to kill unit! exitcode=00000000b complite...and...exite PC at:rpm..write+0x220/0x228). The phone is being flashed, writes to MSMToll Download complite and again gives the same error. The phone has never been rooted, the loader is blocked. The phone starts in Fastboot mode. Please help me fix this?

Mine is literally hard bricked. A gm1925 and the best I can do is have it show up in device manager and if I hold the volume down and power while plugging it into the USB I will get a little vibrate feel and response but it never powers on and can't see anything on the screen at all. Any ideas?

I have a OnePlus 7 pro GM1915 stuck in fastboot mode. It had android 11 and I installed the wrong TWRP by following instructions on one of these forums. Now I'm back for help lol. I don't have a computer. I used Bugjaeger to flash everything to the android 11 stock ROM and I'm thinking now I just need the QDLOADER 9008 driver. Is there anyway to flash this driver using Bugjaeger? Also any idea which specific driver I need? Is there a way to flash through Bugjaeger with the driver attached to the system image or do I have to get a PC? Thanks in advance!!

Hi team... my Oneplus 7 Pro keeps rebooting only on the EDL mode.. it doesn't go to neither fastboot mode nor the crashdump or something else... the flash on MDM runs successfully and when device restarts, it doesn't do anything elese, just keep on CrashDump Mode and nothing more than that?

Is it totally dead? :(

My phone doesn't seem to react to VolUp+Down+Power (totally bricked not even fastboot loader or anything on screen will turn on)

But when I plug it in I see

[13329.514963] usb 7-4: new high-speed USB device number 126 using xhci_hcd [13329.645822] usb 7-4: New USB device found, idVendor=05c6, idProduct=9008, bcdDevice= 0.00 [13329.645826] usb 7-4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 [13329.645828] usb 7-4: Product: QUSB_BULK_CID:0404_SN:3A4D5516 [13329.645830] usb 7-4: Manufacturer: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM [13329.646900] qcserial 7-4:1.0: Qualcomm USB modem converter detected [13329.646991] usb 7-4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [13344.450956] usb 7-4: USB disconnect, device number 126 [13344.451141] qcserial ttyUSB0: Qualcomm USB modem converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0 [13344.451160] qcserial 7-4:1.0: device disconnected [13346.602647] usb 7-4: new high-speed USB device number 127 using xhci_hcd [13346.733488] usb 7-4: New USB device found, idVendor=05c6, idProduct=9008, bcdDevice= 0.00 [13346.733492] usb 7-4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 [13346.733494] usb 7-4: Product: QUSB_BULK_CID:0404_SN:3A4D5516 [13346.733496] usb 7-4: Manufacturer: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM [13346.734548] qcserial 7-4:1.0: Qualcomm USB modem converter detected [13346.734619] usb 7-4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [13361.538615] usb 7-4: USB disconnect, device number 127 [13361.538786] qcserial ttyUSB0: Qualcomm USB modem converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0 [13361.538804] qcserial 7-4:1.0: device disconnected

And the MSM tool sees the device pop up.

I have a few problems though.

The USB connection does reset every few seconds. Is this normal?
When clicking Start I get "Sahara communication Failed. Try again..."

I am using it on a virtual machine via SPICE, because I don't have windows.

I have friends on the dark side. I will call in a favour.
But I'm sceptical. Because the device resets the connection all the time. Even if i disable the Qualcomm serial driver. I don't think the operating system has much to do with that.
Anyway, crossing fingers.

Other question, the fact that the device pops up as a seal port when I plug in the cable right away and there is zero reaction to button presses is correct?
I assumed it's a fallback behaviour for a missing Fastboot bootloader that it goes straight into this mode.

so i dont want to push u to an error since my memory of theses are not supper clean and old but i can tell what im pretty sure happens.
The phone either is detected instantly or when u do the manip with volume button. u can see the device in the windows device manager and for me it change when i done the volume button manip.
Personally i got error with something trivial as not having the official cable and yet it s not even apple so i advice u to put all the luck in your side to be sucessfull.
The operation dont last for more than 10 minutes and make sure your choose the right firware cause as the dumbass i wwas i take the indian one and everything work fined, specillay the crap they put on their indian sofwtare that look more like chineese android than stock
