please help.

on my mi4 lte (cm-13.0-20160611-NIGHTLY-cancro) I did all the steps but after reboot my phone don´t read the simcard and don´t have any signal... and after reboot the phone show me the next message "to start android, enter your password" that message if after the cyanogen logo, but i don´t had the mi4 with any password =(

how can I restore the phone with the persist.img that i have backup on my laptop?

Well, i found a guide to restore partitions and now my MI4 back to life

That will do the job, I guess. But you may get the partition table doesn't exist error if you've extended your partition to 1.2GB.

So i guess you are here because your sensors are not working after flashing certain Rom or Kernel Right?

But Don't worry I'm here to help you

NOTE: If you are on new partition table (i.e if you flashed miui mm) use this partion name "mmcblk0p21"

Things you need

• Root Access
• Terminal Emulator
• persistnew.img

Open terminal emulater app and type
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22 of=/sdcard/persist.img

Then you will get the persist.img file on your storage. copy and take it on a safe place... Like on OTG Drive or On PC...

Now copy the downloaded "persistnew.img" file to Internal storage and on terminal emulater app type

dd if=/sdcard/persistnew.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22

Now Reboot... Now check your sensors with "Sensor Box" app on play store :fingers-crossed: Hurray!! Your sensors will be working again :highfive:

Hi Prince Chandela, I'm using Mi3 and facing the same sensor issue after flashed Dirty Unicorn(MM 6), shall I try it on my Mi3 to solve that sensor issue?

@Prince Chandela I've tried that too, after replaced MM file sound sensor, cellular network and WiFi hardware stopped working.

I flashed later version of MIUI 8 alpha ROM(MM) then tried DU now everything working well.
