Finally I succeeded

After many trials the wifi, sound and SIM worked

I used tz.mbn from the old version 4.2.2 and NON-HLOS from 4.4.2

and I kept trying and one time it succeeded

the update is not working but this is good for me since I am not planning to upgrade to 4.4.2

good luck

My IMEI says null / null and Baseband is unknown. Wifi, sound is not working :( Going to try your NON-HLOS method now.

Edit: flashing the NON-HLOS from 4.4.2 restored my IMEI and baseband in JB. Got back sound and IMEI. Wifi is still not working.

Edit 2: Wifi is now working. I flashed tz.mbn of Kitkat 4.4.2 and then rooted the device with CWM. i.e S4Mini_RootKit_v2.zip(for busybox) and UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.01.zip( for latest version of SuperSU). After reboot, I opened SuperSU and it asked if I wanted to disable KNOX popups and KNOX. I pressed yes. Then I went and turned on Wifi. Its working. Successfully downgraded to a fully functional 4.2.2 with tripped kitkat bootloader.

Here are the files to fix IMEI, Baseband, Wifi ( Root the device and disable KNOX from SuperSU app after flashing). Extract rar files and flash these one by one.

@SilviuMik:

sorry, i have two little questions for you :)
I read that with F4k's test kernel now wifi works also with knox-free bootloader but kernel doesn't fix the FC under secury settings.
Do you have find a way to fix it?
Last question: under your KK firmware you are using old tz.mbn from JB or the new KK one?

Thanks in advance:)

OK. thanks
but you still have old knox-free bootloader?
have you first flashed stock KK (without knox files) rom from Odin and then flashed f4k's kernel?
No mate.
I compiled my own kernel ( F4k removed knox mentions from source / defconfig ) , removed all with knox & co from ramdisk, removed knox apps , containers from system , removed knox from build.prop , removed bootloader ( aboot sbl 1 2 3 ) and it works :p with all new modem / tz / rpm etc :)
Is not so easy to remove knox now as it was on JB . If u don`t remove ALL, even one line / app left u get random reboots :p
If u delete too much u get unstable system ... or no wifi / such

Wondering if the way you did this and got a KNOX free 4.4.2 bootloader would work on my phone? I have a GS4 lte from t-mobile. The method shown in this forum worked to get me 4.3 KNOX free bootloader. :good::D

Could you tell me what computer OS you are using, and what programs you are. Again thank you for you help.
LinuxMint 17.1 Cinnamon x64 in a Virtual machine hosted by vmware Workstation 11.
Kernel compilers Linaro GCC 4.7.4-2014.06 Toolchain ( a good starting point )
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098133
Linaro GCC 4.9.3-2015.01 Toolchain after a while, but u need to modify your source code and fix compilation errors caused by newer toolchain ( harder )
Rest, u should google a little how to compile a kernel, how to modify a kernel etc

Hello friends.

I have s4 mini duos i9192 with Firmware PDA: i9192UBUBMK4 and CSC: i9192UUBBMK2 - TPA Jelly Bean 4.2.2

For what i read this firmware is KNOX free, in download mode apear Knox kernel lock 0x0
I had rooted this phone before and all OK.

Now i want upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2 samsung stock rom, but having the chance to downgrade latter

Samsung kyes says i have to update to:
PDA: I9192UBUCOB1
CSC: I9192UUBCOB1
TPA

If i download the firmware from sammobile, and delete the bootloader of kitkat 4.4.2, latter i will have the chance to downgrade to jelly bean 4.2.2 or how i have to do:confused:

Thanks you all!!!

PD: i atached my current software and what kies says for upgrade!!

Your current rom does have Knox included . U can`t delete it or so, u can only hide it with Indian bootloader from kitkat. If u have root u can try to flash new rom ( kitkat ) with FlashFire
That should "in theory" allow u to flash a stock rom, don`t trigger knox, keep root and have an option to go back to 4.2.2 if needed. I did not try it, only what i read
