Hi all
I created this thread to simplify the nougat installation.
This guide Will help you to install what is needed, root,twrp,newest version, etc..

READ ALL BEFORE DOING ANYTHING


INSTALLATION :
(FROM MARSHMALLOW TO NOUGAT)

FIRST METHOD :

1/unroot your device

2/reboot to twrp (meticulus's twrp), (Thanks to @Meticulus)

3/Flash update zip (B370)
VNS-L31
(thanks to @gtdaniel )
VNS-L21

4.without reboot, flash the additionnal package
VNS-L31 (thanks to @BadWolfYe )

VNS-L21

5/reboot ;)

SECOND METHOD :
1/flash b160 version (marshmallow)
2/go to hicare app
3/search for system update
4/done

(FROM NOUGAT TO NOUGAT)
1)install stock recovery of your current version
2) install FirmwareFinder app
3)choose the latest version, and select the big file , it is ~1.5gb
4)click on 'send firmware to updater' you will have a pop-up , which it tells you to install firmware finder proxy, install it
5)go back to firmware finder and click again on send firmware to updater'
6)it will give you some instructions that you must do ,do it
7)go back again to ff app, and send the version again
8)go to setting>system update and check for update, you will see that the version will appear
9)done

HOW TO DOWNGRADE FROM NOUGAT TO MM

1. flash TWRP(thanks to @OldDroid )

2. Flash this file

3. Put the MM UPDATE.APP in the DLOAD folder on EXTERNAL SDCARD

4. Install it using the 3 button method (dload
method)

5. Factory reset

6. DONE!!

HOW TO ROOT YOUR P9LITE :

check rooting methods in @OldDroid's twrp link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/development/twrp-t3588356

FOR PEOPLE WHO FLASHED WHATEVER VERSION AND DONT HAVE ALL THE APPS

1.flash twrp (look for the link above) VIA FASTBOOT !

2.reboot into twrp

3.flash the additional package (look at the installation section above )

4. DONE!


HOW TO INSTALL VIPER4ANDROID
(Must have magisk installed)
1.Flash Magisk v13
2.go to magisk manager
3.go to downloads, and look for viper4android
4.install the module
5.reboot
6.done !

HOW TO ENABLE D2W AND DRAW 2 WAKE
1/go to /product/etc/prop/local.prop
2.search for the line ro.config.hw_easywakeup=false
3.change false to true
4/now go to /system/build.prop and add this line ro.config.hw_easywakeup=true
5/do the same step in /vendore/build.prop
6/go to /system/emui/base/xml/hw_easywakeupmotion_config
7/change the values that are surrounded to 1 ,look at the screenshot
attachment.php

8/reboot :)


HOW TO INSTALL MAGISK!
1.Just flash Magisk v13 and it will work.

What is inside the number 4 step that is in the instructions? I flash only the first one. Can someone enlighten me so if i really missed something I'm going to do it again. Gonna downgrade to mm and flash it all over again

KNOWN BUGS :

+Mobile data doesn't work after locking the screen ( you have to reboot your phone to re-enable mobile data )
+ You tell me if I forget something :)

No, i am not sure, it was a question, but i just reinstaller with only the first file, given mobile bug, i am looking in the parameters if there is not a data saver to set.
This photo is nrd90m so 1st file, I have a doubt I think there is more choice or it's the same I did not do photo with both I do not remember
more.

If you only flash first file, (update.zip) the phone boot with activate developer settings by default...
If you flash update.zip and data_full_hw....zip, the phone boot without activate developer settings by default....

In your case its first point.... and you see the last "panel activators" because of developer settings...

    for now stopped the research for root... now working in update the Recovery Nougat, and researching for mount data in Nougat Recovery

    The two lines error when flashing the nougat via twrp is normal just ignore it just like they say... Me fine working, only camera bug.. and I'm going to fix this soon as soon as they confirm a good working twrp for nougat

    I flashed THE update.zip from VNS-L23 B329, and after flashed THE FULL_DATA_VNS-L31.ZIP.... (from B328)
    And.... MOBILE DATA WORKS, AND CORRECTED THE ANDROID VERSION AND EMUI VERSION :)
    ALL WORKING, data, wifi, NFC, BT........etcetcetc REALLY.... THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION!!!!
