Right click the device and click "update driver". From there select the qualcomm driver. The phonetool should have one lane show something different. If it does, start will also be clickable

Doesn't work :( If I tried to install qualcom, it will. and it also asks for a computer restart. but whenever i restart, the device becomes unknown again and it's a vicious cycle. i think mine might really be effed up. waiting to see how it goes in the remote repair session. thanks for your help though.

If using Windows 8/10 try disabling driver signature enforcement. It should install after your disable it. Just google it if you don't know how to.

BTW I am waiting for you to upload the files. Once uploaded, I will edit the raw program inside it and will give a zip that won't wipe data. :)
I have tested it on Opo too.

@paultje162 My phone booted but my wifi is not turning on and no network signal (my IMEI, Baseband and Mac address show as unknown) help?
EDIT: I had EFS MODEM MODEMST1 MODEMST2 backups so i reflashed them and everything is fine now!
Notes to myself, disable driver signature reinforcement, make sure no spaces in directory of QCOM flasher, need to hit the square check button, then start

I'm on Windows 7 and also enabled something so now there is a "test mode" at bottom right of my screen.

Hello. I have been following your guide up to step 6. If my phone says RELINK instead of qualcom does it matter?
Hello, so a fellow forum member @timejtw had helped me with this problem. Here's how to fix if you are seeing RELINK instead of Qualcom

1. Uninstall any previous qualcom/relink drivers through device manager (gonna redo the whole process)
2. ENABLE test mode (Open program as administrator) by this > http://www.ngohq.com/?page=dseo
3. Restart PC
4. Disable auto install drivers in windows. For windows 7, go to device and printer > right click your computer > Device installation setting > select No and Never install driver
4. Hold volume up button and connect to laptop again, it will see OP2 as QHSB_BULK in device manager
5. Right click QHSB_BULK and install driver in qc folder.
6. Now it should show Qualcom for your OP2.
7. Your OP2 should now appear in MSM8994DownloadTool

Afterwards you can renable the auto install drivers

All credits go to @timejtw :)

I need your knowledge guys, I just done all the processes here, and at the end of the restore by MSM8994 my OPT bootloop again. What's wrong?
I had the same issue once, long ago and well, turned out it was because I didn't have a working recovery flashed (was corrupted and unable to flash). I ended up
1. Re-flashing this Package again and then entered the fastboot mode.
2. Flashed TWRP recovery and booting into it once and rebooting normally.
3. Once the OS loaded, rebooted back to fastboot to flash the stock recovery.

Do have a try and let us know.

Stuck

My row 1 turns the font green and it seems like its done, it doesn't proceed any further. I've unplugged it and tried powering it on. Nothing happens. But if I hold the volume up again and plug it back in, it starts flashing again. Need help please

Same for me. Flashing done but won't be able to power up the phone. Then I flashed again but can't power up. Now, after second flashing, the Oneplus2 is no longer recognized for flashing a third time :(
Now my devices seem to be complete bricked. Nothing to see on display and no way to see it on my PC. Any ideas?

/Update/
The trick is to complete power off the device before plug into usb. No screen means not that the device is powered off :)
I need to press power button for 20 seconds. Then press volume up + connect usb and the device is recognized again.
But my first problem still exist. I can flash but can't power on after flash ....

/Update 2/
After one time my PC see the Oneplus2 as USB Device it is now not recognized again and the 20sec. power-off trick don't work any more :(
Is there any safe and easy way to boot the Oneplus2 into Qualcom Recovery?

/Update 3/
I'm not sure how, but I got it working. :)

Please help, I've tried a number of methods with using the MSM8994DownloadTool.exe tool but this tool cannot detect my phone. I tried a number of Qualcomm hs-usb * devices but it still would not recognize it.

Here is my phone's current status:
- when I try normal boot, it just stays at the 1+ logo screen
- I can boot into fastboot mode
- I tried flashing the twrp or stock recovery, the flash seems to work but I cannot boot into recovery mode
- I have a A2005 model

Please help!!!!

I just re-read @mjenne comment carefully, perhaps I haven't been able to boot the device into Qualcomm recovery mode. My problem is that when ever I plug the phone into the computer, the phone turns on automatically.
So am I doing this wrong? Like @mjenne said, is there an easier way to boot into Qualcomm recovery mode? Or does anyone have the exact instructions to boot into that mode?

** update **
Problem solved. Long story short, I was testing the Phoenix rom which requires TWRP 3.0 by Kingmerican. When I tried to restore to my Oxygen OS backup, I got stuck in 1+ logo. After trying everything, what ended up fixing the problem is re-flash the TWRP 3.0 Kingmerican recovery in fastboot mode. However, that was one of the first thing I did after my phone was stuck in boot loop. It turns out that there a slight different button pattern that I had to push. I found this out by fluke and desperate tries.
Here is the button sequence.
- once the power is off, I immediately press Vol down + Power buttons, then once I see the 1+ logo, I let go of the power button but keep pressing the Vol down button. Then eventually, it will boot into TWRP (Kingmerican version).

Then from there, I use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the OxygenOS full rom to my phone and I flashed it. Before I reboot, I purposely tell the process to wipe the TWRP recovery and use the stock one.

I hope that helps someone else who have similar problem.
